Info for new Anarchy Online characters

first off when you spawn. run forward past the big bug statue and past teh two barriers. run through teh central door.

find the ladder and run up it


ignore the nurse she adds nothing constructive to this.

jump off the wreckage of the crashed shuttle and swim to the shore.

at teh edge of the sea (or sometimes about 6ft into it)there is a mdeic in a blue robe. go talk to him and he will give you the first mission. you need to go find 4 animals. beach leet, island reet, surf lizard and shore snake. just click on em for a little while and its mission complete.

back to the docotr for yuor reward. then he sends you out to kill one of each of the animals you just saw. now you COULD go back to him now. but he is only gonna send you out again. keep killing the animals till you get 6 "monster parts" in the loot you get (you were looting wernt you?)

when yuo got the parts go and speak to the medic and he wil finish your first mission and send you out to collect the parts. hand em over and he gives you some decent (ish) health packs

go find the tunnel in the wall that leads up to the top of the cliff and use the ramp to go up (dont go north towards the spiders now. you will get pwned.) when you get to the top of the ramp head north past teh alien battle (dont you wish you had alien invasion now?) and look for 2 npcs named travis molten and antonio stackland. ignore antonio for now (tho remember him he is VERY important) speak to travis molton and he will give you a mission. (its either the unicorn soldier one or the clan medic one, pick one) he will also ask you for situation reports from both of them

head back to the alien battle and talk to the relevant npc there (uni commander is the BIG guy in the cyberarmour. clan medic is the womanin the white robe) and go do what they ask of you (both missions need you to go through the lower north tunnel i told you to ignore earlier. the easiest way to get there is just jump off the bridge yuou are on. its just ehind you.

when the missions are complete head back and talk to the npc you got em from to get your rewards. DONT FORGET TO ASK EM FOR THE PROGRESS REPORTS. then go back to travis molten and give him the rewards for more xp

the unicorn commander gives you 2 nice peices o armour "joint clans shoulderpad" and "omnitek shoulderpad" pick which one of these you are gonna join and sell the other one. you can equip two if these at once. so YOU NEED TO DO THE UNICORM MISSION TWICE TO GET 2 SETS OF YOUR CHOSEN PADS

when you have both your shoulderpads head back down to the beach and kill "island reet"s until you find a little white crystal called "take me to the shop" see it? got one? good. now kiill every last fucking reet you can find. these are the easiest way to make money noobie island. all in all your gonna need about 25 of em for this next bit.

when you have the crystals head back up the where the unicorn commander and the medic are. walk past the fighting soldiers and down past teh attacking aliens (dontg worry is you leave them alone they will return the favour.) head up to the whompa room and talk to your chosen representative on the ramp. (go with omnitek its much easier for beginners) agree to sign on and he will give you a green application form. right click it and your in!!. you can now equip your omnitek shoulderpads (WHAT!! YOU SOLD EM!!! GO BACK AND GET TWO MORE!) now just up and behind him there is an omnitek equipment vendor. sell him your "take me to the shops" and buy 7 "omnitek badges"

now go back to antonio (the vendor near travis molten) and buy a full set (boots leggings gloves chestplate and 2 pairs of sleeves) of "newcomers armour" DONT BUY THE EXPENSIVE STUFF. when you have the full set. press shift+T to open your tradeskill window. place one of the badges you just bought in the "source" window, place oneof the armour parts in the "target" window and click build. do this withthe rest of th armour.

this turns the mewcomer armour into omnitek newcomer armour. it is the best armour you can get for lvls 0-20 or so. if you shift+left click it youwill see that it is a levelling item. when you go up a level, take it off, right click it and the armour will get stronger too!! woot etc

now go talk to antonio about his weapons. he can upgrade the newbie weapons you get at teh start into something that is really quite rocking. you need to buy " an adaptation factory" from him and he will give you a list of parts you need and what you need to hunt to get em. when you have the parts just combine with the adaptation factory (same way you did the armour) and then combine the resulting object with your noobie weapon. you can dual weild most weapons from the noobie island after they have been upgraded, antonio sells spares.

ok . you are now fit to leave the island if you wish. tho personally i usually stay there till lvl 10 or so, if you stay there are bosses scattered liberally through the island that you shouldnt have any trouble at all killing in your new armour suit,

a final note.

ther is something you can aqquire on the noobie island cheaply and easily. if you get this back to the mainland you can sell it for 150-300k a peice.
