Nominations: MP game of the year 2010

Post by Dog Pants »

Please post here your nominations for the 5punk Multiplayer Game of the Year 2010. Nominees of this award can be either very good or just plain 5punky, or maybe even both. 5punky MP games are what keeps us bumming together, so this is a prestigious and important award. Voting will commence in the New Year.

I think historically it has been, although if it works better for games that have had a 5punky surge this year then why not.

Was BACON released this year? That had a pretty good run.

BACON was this year, and it was good even though I barely played it with 5punk.

Blops is standard COD fun, murdering people until you get murdered in a bullshit way and go "You shit!"

Minecraft went into alpha this year and that was when the game actually got fun. I'm bored of it now, but it's still a good multiplayer game.

Definitely BACONZ for me. I think the pacing of it is perfect. It started to get a bit tired, but then they released more maps - good times.

I've played a few good MP games this year, and I've sunk a lot of time into Minecraft and World of Tanks. However, since neither have technically been released I'll save votes for them for another year. So I think, of all the games I've played this year I'd have to agree with BACON. It's been a long time since we all jumped on a shooter like that, and the amount of 5punkers we had playing it together makes it a winner for me.

After the arguments of previous years (mostly about eve) we did stipulate a release date of this year, as such WoT and Minecraft are ineligible.

Still, 5punk game of the year is the better category for them both anyway.
