I dont understand how that chart is decided.
For one, I've played over 50 muse songs alone..

Maybe it's plays since the chart was created.

I'm not sure I will contribute anything to this as I only listen to music on my ipod and not sure if the play counts get synced with itunes ... I'll have to check :?

its done on the ammoint of people who have listened to that artist, the actual chart is much much longer than that, you can see the whole thing by clicking on the chart and then clcking on the charts tab.

I'll look at getting something integrated with the 5punk.co.uk page :)

*adds to long list that he's currently working on*

The plugin seems to only be "recognising" the more mainstream tracks I've been playing - at roughly a 50% ratio, all the very new artists, plus the rather older ones (some of mine and my Dad's vinyl rips) seem to be ommited.

This presumably means more than just having correct filenames. I remember a thread somewhere about software that does this for you, will have to check it out.

I'm gueesing I'll have to manually do it for the stuff we've encoded from vinyl, as they'll be unique.

Be careful, but using ID3 tagit, you can process the filename into Id3 v1 and v2 tags quickly and easily. :)
