I'll head to the other apartment to "pick up" the other Doobrie. Is that where Grimmie is going too?

The Shivers are still there, loitering. One of them has his helmet off and is smoking.

I'll have another look round see if anything looks relevant:

The Shivers don't stop you. The smoking one shrugs, throws his cigarette on the floor, and puts his helmet back on.

Aside from a Johnny Automatic Doobrie with several gunshot wounds, and a man's body that looks to have been mutilated with an electric carving knife, there's an Oyster in the lounge and a dozen or so packets of Doobrie food scattered over the kitchen.

Funny, a good detect roll is like the glowing mouseovers in point and click. Now you just need to USE Doobrie Chow(TM) WITH SHIVER Helmet.

Is it wrong that I want to feed some of the Doobrie food to Eraser to see what would happen?

Right, I was planning on getting computer hacking because of the many instances that we could have gotten good info from computers, so I have spent 7 of my 8 XP I had saved on getting Computer Subterfuge level 2.

Yeah Dirk, let me take a look at it.
Computer Use (4): 9, 1 + 4 = 14
Compy Hax! (2): 6, 10 + 2 = 18

Nice work. There's not a great deal on there out of the ordinary, certainly nothing exciting. Looking at his shopping habits though he's been Doobrie shopping a few times. The Johnny Auto Doobrie was bought about 6 months ago, and since then he's bought a regular supply of food, clothing, fake armour and a fake FEN 808 for it.

There doesn't seem to be anything unusual at all here. He bought the thing not too long ago, and hasn't done anything that would cause alarm. I think we should definitely get that food checked out. We should check out these other accessories that he bought for the doobrie. Have we found everything doobrie related? There should be some clothes, weapons, and armor.
If it's not immediately obvious, I'll help with the search.

You find pretty much everything. One of the older outfits is missing, and another is a bit torn.

Grimmie looks forlorn that it was dead on arrival, and appeals to the shivers.

The Shivers all look at one of their number, who folds his arms and shakes his head.

Those Shivers really don't have anything else to do, do they?

Nope, not in Uptown. In Downtown it's different, they like to occupy their time beating up civilians for protection money, being shot by gang members or DarkNight, or being eaten by monsters. It's great being a Shiver.
