The download of the client doesn't seem to complete for me. It gets right to the end and hangs. I'm trying wget on a linux box now, to see if Firefox is the problem.

I grabbed it via torrent and it spazzed on checking then took forever to install.

I'm on tier three tanks now, but the prices are getting a tad steep so I'm consolidating my wealth for a bit.

I think my download spazzed on the last bit too. A pause and restart sorted it, like S2B. Also, T3 tanks already? You're not right Pete.

I've put all the names I know on Anham's first post.

I tried this last night and stopped after a short time, saying to myself "I don't really understand the appeal". Today I find myself playing it again and really pleased with myself that I killed 3 tanks. I still don't understand why it appeals but it does.

I've created a 5punkchat channel by the way. Just search for it in the channels tab.

More thoughts on this game: If you crash out while loading a map it sticks your tank in the game to get raped, leaving you with nil points and a repair bill. This is bad. However, I've been wondering how many hours I'd have logged if xfire picked the game up. A lot I suspect.

Also, check out this thread for what the community have been doing with skins. They're only local, but if I was the devs I'd be paying some of these guys to use them in game, because they're amazing.

Cripes, things really get tough at tier 3/4. Almost every match sees me in the lowest rated vehicle, and I need to be getting 5 figure experience to progress. Not easy when you're being raped by heavies every game.

yup, lvl 3 is a stone cold bitch, but its better that it used to be. a lot of people ground it out by getting as many t1/t2 tanks as you can, getting them all to elite (all upgrades and the next in the tech tree unlocked), and then converting the experience into gold (free) XP and ignoring T3 altogether.

I found 3 easier than 4. Got my panzer 3 and all I do is get my schnitzel smashed by big ass tanks. I'll be using my sturmpanzer 2 to rack up maximum xp.

I'm not liking the Panzer III. Doesn't seem to have much effect against mediums, isn't very fast, and needs a fuckload of xp to get to Panzer IV. My Leopard is suffering a similar fate, not feeling as fun as my Lynx. My Wespe has proven to be well worth the money though.

Urgh, someone take this game off me, it's tank crack.

I'm nigh on 500 battles since I got it, which I think was about a week ago but I'm not sure. I was sat having my morning poo and looking at the floor tiles when I noticed they had a green reticle imprinted on them and when I kept my head still it shrank, there's one on the screen right now and my finger is flexing on its own trying to fire...

I played one battle last night and the lag made it unplayable so I played Minecraft instead.
