I think I'd rather go covert.

I could always go into tramp mode again, as long as I've got backup nearby. Even that's a better option than letting Chopper talk.

The area you are going into isn't the worst part of the Barrens. Still pretty shitty, but its not a total shantytown. Its all apartments that used to house 1 mid level corporate type that now houses 4 families, and its largely run by Yaks/Mafia. Running water and reasonable matrix coverage, sod all Star coverage to speak of (apart from passing trade, as it were), but if you have a docwagon contract at least you don't have to worry about extraterritoriality.

Bugger it, I'll leave the heavy fire power and full armour in Niks van, so what if he has a bomb up top.

I'll go in area with concealed pistol/tazer and big duster jacket over some clothes with under-armour.

Sorry I've been MIA.

Nik's a little sheepish after 'the incident', and a little miffed that Frank is shying away from him and Yelyena.
Never the less, more money means more drones, and shooting things usually leads to more money.

I shall launch my Kull and arm Al with one of my bug-drones before heading out.

Chopper has made it clear to Nik that he will forgive him, but only if he is allowed to sit up front and select the music.

He's allowed to sit up front on the provision he doesn't keep flicking his tongue through Papa P's face.

What the shit? How did I miss all of this? I swear new posts don't always get flagged as such. I shall tick the notify box, so it doesn't happen again.

The area is pretty shitty, but its not as bad as the depths of the barrens. Anyone who has experienced Britains shittier council flats will know what its like. Theres a fair few people around, just hanging about chatting. Its a pretty even mix of orcs and humans, with a couple of people who may be SURGE'd, or they might just be fuck ugly, its hard to tell. They are all obviously poor, but not homeless-poor. You get the feeling that most of them are out on the streets because its slightly *more* comfortable than their houses though.

The exact spot that the body was picked up is at what may at one point have been a crossroad, but is now more of a T junction as one of the roads is full of old cars, dead drones and other assorted shite. Its still accessible by foot though.

Bit of a long-shot, but can I see any fancy drones in the pile of nasty dead ones that I might be able to grab and repair?

If it doesn't look like I'm going to get mugged I'll get out and have a poke around;

Perception 3 + INT 4 = 7

6, 4, 1, 5, 6, 2, 4: 3 hits.

Anything worth taking is likely long since gone, but you can do a Mechanic+logic roll to see if you find anything tasty spare parts-wise.

Nothing obvious in the alley, but you do notice a group of kids who seem to have taken notice of you. Two orcs, three humans and a dwarf, who had been playing some sort of card game before you got out the van.
Can I mug Al?
I won't stop you
