I just noticed someone on the road get off their horse and walk off into the bushes. I followed and found him taking a leak against a rock. I love the attention to detail.

Did you punch him in the dick and steal his horse?

This.

When I first started the game I remember looking on in amazement how a blacksmith took a hot horseshoe out of the forge, put it on his anvil (in the correct way!) and started hitting it, you could even see bits of iron oxide fly off.
impressive stuff rockstar!

I would have got cyberwee on me. Besides, even playing as the good guy your character is quite a bastard.

Well, I'll have you know my PS3 version connects flawlessly and I don't have to pay extra for it. So there.

My 360 version is also fine, from the few games of multiplayer I've tried.

Tandino, have you tried putting your 360 in to the DMZ on your router? I think mine might be set on the port that the console uses or I've set the ports - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/908874

Apparently joggers did this in GTA 4, after stopping to take a sip of water but I never saw it so I assumed it was just rumour.

Finished the main story line and all the challenges, yet there are a few stranger missions that never showed up for me, might have to go looking for them at a later time as now I'm pretty much stuck on 91 %

But holy shit what a fantastic game!

I'm still working my way through it but I agree that it is awesomes :) It'll be even better for me once I sort out my twat of a router so I can actually play online.

With the stranger missions, they might not have shown up because your honour was too high/too low

Well, my honour is at the very maximum now, maybe some strangers only show up when it's super low? Even though that'd be a bit odd.

Shame I can't play multiplayer with any of you. :(

The only ones I haven't encountered yet are Love is the opiate and Aztec gold.
I'll fire up the PS3 later to see if I can still find them, but the game is known to be incredibly buggy at times, so much even that I can't even get my limited edition outfit. Which I paid for.

Give them a prod about that, my golden weapons code didn't work but they fired another one off to me very quickly

Oh, the code works, but you have to do a number of challenges in order to get it, which includes going after a bounty target. Sadly, a known bug is that the bounty does not appear, and so far I haven't found him yet.
It could be that I need to do a few more first, which I've also heard.

I grabbed the PS3 version, since my XBox is noisier, but that has backfired rather spectacularly. After a few minutes play the fan speed goes up to its "scream" setting in an effort to cool the console. This has happened with no other game I've played on the PS3, ever and I've played some all day and left the console folding for weeks inbetween.

I'll probably wait until the weather cools down before trying again, I got as far as racing the horse around the ranch (rubbish handling) wasn't hugely impressed if I'm honest, but it was the noise of the fan I found too distracting to carry on.

To be fair, horses arn't exactly known for their drifting skills.
