sad times.
You guys know about www.nzbsrus.com though right? It seems pretty good, and you can use it free for a handful of things a day.
Newzbin legal stuff.

I like binsearch just fine, it has some features that are better than newzbin's conditioned search. (like telling you what's passworded)
I also seem to remember some sites (possibly including the one Joose linked) just leeched nzbs from newzbin and reposted them, so some of them might go titsup soon, though it's not that difficult to get them, lots of things are posted with an nzb these days

Might be worth mentioning that this didnt happen, so (for the moment at least) nzbsrus is still going.Dr. kitteny berk wrote:I also seem to remember some sites (possibly including the one Joose linked) just leeched nzbs from newzbin and reposted them, so some of them might go titsup soon, though it's not that difficult to get them, lots of things are posted with an nzb these days

If they stole the code, they did a pretty good job as getting a full and reasonably up to date copy of the DB is impressive if they didn't have help.Dr. kitteny berk wrote:Yeah, someone stole the code and did that, would be wary.
And surely they must be in contact with the orig owners, as they are using the orig domain. Unless they stole that too...
Anyway, they already have my username & password etc etc and i have enough credit to last me ages so I can't imagine using it would be any more of a security risk than it already is.
