Interesting. Seems very Matrixy in concept though.

Does the Big Giant Head make an appearance? He'll always be Tommy from 3rd Rock to me.

Super 8 - You are required to be excited about this, by order of Hollywood. It would help if there was something in there to get excited about.

The Adjustment Bureau - Looks like an interesting concept but a bit heavy of lovey-dovey.

I'm not sure I can suspend my disbelief enough for Adjustment Bureau. Judging from that I'd need a crane.

It's a bit dark city meets bourne. Doesn't look too bad though.

I do like the look of the spielberg/abrams thingy, but I like show nothing trailers as opposed to here's all the best bits from my film now wait ages to watch the shit bits in between trailers.

Saw the trailer for this the other day and was left cold. Does it also mean we'll have to endure another year viral marketing, and "monster/alien speculation" before the film is released, a la Cloverfield?

I liked Cloverfield, and the mystery before its release. I didn't like the shakeycam, and the whole viral mystery thing has been done now. Super 8 is a type of video, so I'm hoping that's not a reference to more shakeycam.

A story designed by committee, that sounds soulless.

They'll make a film about anything these days.

I found the shakeycam a lot less upsetting in smallscreen than bigscreen. I think I heard somewhere that it was written/filmed with home viewing in mind, more than cinema. Not sure if I think thats an interesting idea for a big budget film, or fucking stupid. Maybe both.

New Scott Pilgrim trailer:

Maybe it's the fact that Edgar Wright is directing, or the presence of Prodigy in the trailer, but I'm starting to think this might be ok.

Edgar Wright and the Prodigy are indeed a good thing, but I never liked Michael Cera. There is something about him that makes me want to punch him in the face. I'm willing to give the film a try though.

Yeah, I'm not sure what to make of Scott Pilgrim and I'm certainly a bit sick of seeing Michael Cera. But I guess I should trust Mr. Wright.

He's annoying in that zombie one with Bill Murray in, but that's more because of the stupid love story they put in for no real reason.

But I can forgive it because of Bill Murray.

Actually that was Jesse Eisenberg, Michael Cera's less successful clone, who I may dislike even more.
But I will forgive you the mistake as you appear to be drunk.

They look the same! Is it not some evil twin whose one person thing so he can pretend to be the other one and get some peace and quiet in the bars in Hollywood?

Okay, I think I'll stop the horrible mess now because I just looked at that and realised I'm really concentrating but it's not working.
