Loaning money to the Corp...

Post by fabyak »

Lo!
As we seem to be struggling to get the capital for the corp, would you be willing to lend the corp some cash to get the necessary kit to get it there?

Current estimates are that we will need about 200 million to get set up there, with the corp wallet currently sat at 39mil so we're about 160mil short

I can currently spare about 30 million but if my trading goes well this figure will rise. I also have processed a *lot* of ice so I doubt we will be too short on fuel coming from ice any time soon.

If we do get all the stuff and get moved and set up, I propose that the debts to members be paid back proportionally (i.e. as a percent of what you were able to spare) when the money started coming in

we need about 130 million more, please add the amount you can spare and update the total (I will knock up a spreadsheet that will work out repayments...

(and if we can get out there you know how rich we will become! 8) )

Yes, but at the moment it'll only be a couple of million.

In fact I never have more than a couple of million :(

thatd be great! Looks like the move *might* be back on (although having just heard about the potential tensions between BoB and ISS it may not be a great idea)

Power struggles, and all the rest aside though, we've got a fair bit of work to do before we even undock for deep space. As always with me, I've spent a fair bit of time on this, and aside from all the little details like exactly much fuel we've got etc there's some thing that HAVE to be sorted.

What is everyone flying on the trip down?

Where would we be leaving from?

How much stuff do you have lying around that's got to be re-located to the assembly point?

Now, in an ideal world, I'd be after a fleet mix of the following:

Escort Cover: Dog Pants, Wiggy, Friznit, Joose, Feafelas
Hauling stuff: Silver, Snagletooth Bob, Fabyak, Tehbomber

It would most likely involve two trips. One to take the POS down, set it up, get the guns online and another to go back for all the barges, spare ships etc. And if we're gona do it in the next week, I'd advice doing the move on either saturday, monday (28th) or tuesday (29th) as sunday is the day all of eve is trying to kill each other, and we don't want to run into any gate camps.

So, what say you gents?

I can haul quite happily, but will also be happy running point in Sneaky Bastard (My covert ops ship) to ensure the fleet isn't walking straight into any gate gankers

Thought I was a hauler? Or you want me in my EW thingy?

I can spare about 30 - 40 mill if I hold out on getting my new Ferox, which is probably a good idea if we're gonna move soon. I'm in the process of 'slimming down' my holdings anways, so I might have some more ISK incoming.

We gonna get an office set up in nearby safe space so we can start some unaccompanied runs to a forward base?

My only issue - I'm away for a week on Saturday next, and I don't want to miss the move :(

I'm not long on cash (same boat as Mr Pants) but I do have an indy waiting for pick up (skills will be complete this evening) which, once rammed with basic cargo expanders, I think will go to about 7,000 Cum. I am ready (well not really, but that's being a noob for you) to go but timing is important for me. I need to avoid a fight with Bubble (Mrs Bomber). How long is the move likely to take in earth hours?
