Pffft. Best get started now. The lab techs will help you sterilise your stuff though, so it's not too bad. The only potential problem is the chainaxe. If it's a stubby one like Hallowe'en Jack's you're okay, but if it's a big one you'll not get it into the steri-chamber (which is about a meter cubed, give or take for artistic license).

Well I put the disclaimer about artistic license in so that I could be a bit fuzzy about what will and won't fit. I don't want to completely deprive people of all but handguns, knives and SMGs, so only really huge bits of kit (flick scythes, large chainaxes, suits of armour) won't fit. The Warmonger is actually quite a stubby thing compared to the likes of a Power Reaper, and remember that many weapons can be dismantled.
Basically I don't want to use this as a deus ex machina to deprive you of your gear, it's a realism consideration after the fact that survey teams won't be bringing anything larger than soil, rock, and plant samples back.

Yeah, Deathsuits fit underneath. Ebons and Wasters are so slender that even with the Deathsuit they're about the size of a moderately large human. No ebb-user would remove their deathsuit anyway, so saying they wouldn't fit would just exclude Ebbies from this part of the BPN.
I did wonder if you'd all forgotten you'd been told that there was no actual DarkNight there.

Im working on the assumption that everything im told is lies, until proven otherwise. No harm in being cautiousDog Pants wrote:I did wonder if you'd all forgotten you'd been told that there was no actual DarkNight there.
Prepare for the worst and hope for the best, thats my motto.
EDIT: oh, and even though the warbastard might fit, I think I will stick to just the diddygun. Letting rip with a gun that only does full auto in an environment where we are supposed to be being carefull might not be appreciated.

Oh I know there isn't any DN, I was mostly just trying to keep up the appearance that we're supposed to be looking for them, and that we're also totally bad-asses that can kill anything with ease.Dog Pants wrote:I did wonder if you'd all forgotten you'd been told that there was no actual DarkNight there.
Assuming I can't fit my armor inside the environment suit, I will take my AR + ammo, my 603 + ammo, environment & motion scanners, climbing kit, medi-kit, the mini-cams + dataslug recorder, and my oyster.
Also, if I can keep on my Coolant Suit I will.
Your coolant suit's designed to be worn under armour, so wearing it under the suit is no problem at all. Wraiths are possibly small enough to fit inside a human sized suit with light armour, but since the limbs are different dimensions it'd probably not move very well, and your armour is arguably not light anyway.
Since we have a majority consent, I'll fast forward to 19:00 then.
Once fitted into your suits, with the help of the techs, you find that the suits are bolted together at the seams. This means in order to get out of them you'll either have to get a tech to undo the bolts, or cut yourself out with a powered weapon. When you leave the whole facility lowers to the ground to release you, and you step out of the airlock onto deep grass. If you look back at the facility you see faces peering at you through the grimy windows.
The patrol will take you in a rough triangle from the facility, down to the distant forests, across parallel to the facility and then back to it from a different direction.

We'll use something else, can you do Friday? The Shutting Downs wrote:I has looked, I has no X-fire and cannot install it on the laptop i'm on, as its likely to send it all the way into death.
Grimmie will patrol the facility, paying particular care to the airlocks, on occasion muttering to himself.
I'll keep an eye out for suspicious behaviour, and listen in to conversations from doorways, if I can manage it.
Tongues might be a little looser with less squad members about.

Grimmie, you don't find anything unusual on your scout of the facility. There's only one door, the one you just came out of.
Looking at the distances involved, this patrol will take a good few hours. However for many of you, even in your suits, the walk will be a pleasant one. It's very rare that Mort dwellers see natural plants, let alone rolling natural vistas.
