ArmA II: 5punk Maps, Addons & Server Details
Server Updated to ARMA2 Patch 1.05
Get the patch here. This also works for Steam version, but you need to turn off auto updates or Steam will break it.
Maps & Missions
We play the 5punky Domination Map 1.27. You do not need to download this, it synch's in game automatically.
Addons
YOU NEED: For a guide to installing addons see here.
Individual addons in this pack include:
Killdozer Nigh unkillable bulldozer for <s>safe wreck moving in combat</s> jousting.
JTD Fire & Smoke for bigger, prettier firey smokey stuff.
Zeus AI (Ace 2) for more convincing, less retarded AI. Note that this won't effect your own party AI unless you install it on your client.
GLT Grass Mod Makes the improbably bushy grass a bit shorter, if you like to play with it enabled for extra pretty.
GLT Grass Mod for Addon Maps Take the pbo for the map you're running.
Game Launcher - really handy tool, works with Steam, does all your command line stuff automagically. Intuitive and easy to set up.
Moar Addons
These aren't included in the packs and havn't been fully tested by me for with the usual mission, but some people might like them:
Fixed Range Nightvision removes HDR from NVG's making them less borked (client side only addon, requires CBA).
Full Screen NVG removes the black border (client side only addon).
Other Useful Stuff
TTPs written for ArmA2 with ACE2 in mind. A very ... very comprehensive guide.

Test Server & Other Stuff
Test Server is currently running ACE2 & ACEX on the Duala Map. These are Beta and so get updated often (3 times a week). Thankfully there's a handy autoupdater tool but it takes some setting up. Here's how:
Full Instructions on the Ace Wiki
*IMPORTANT NOTE*
@5punk and @5punkoptl have been retired, ACE replaces everything @5punk did, and @5punkoptl wasn't worth having as a seperate addon, You're safe to delete both folders, or keep them about and remove them from your shortcut.
Beta Addons to keep an eye on:
Trains
Poke me or Berk on XFire if you need a hand sorting stuff out. And turn off postprocessing - it makes for very pretty screenshots, but otherwise the game just looks like it's been bathed in vaseline.

Right, massive pile of updating complete.
How to do stuff:
How to do stuff:
- Install ACE2 and ACEX using the links and friz's instructions above, this takes a while and downloads slowly, so set it going first.
- Download Duala, Extract into your arma folder so you have Arma 2\@duala\Addons and a few overwrite prompts for the other folders. (you can also do this using the six updater, but it's not super fast, so I wouldn't bother)
- Download @5punkace, Extract into your arma folder so you have Arma 2\@5punkace\Addons and a few overwrite prompts for the other folders.
- Once ACE and related things are downloaded, run ArmA II Launcher.exe in your Arma 2 folder, It'll restart and do clever things.
- Set launcher to Launch @CBA, @ACE, @ACEX, @ACE_SM, @5punkace.

Sorry about the size and relative complexity of this update, Both ACE and Duala are currently in beta, and receiving fairly regular updates, so aren't suited to integrate into a full addon pack yet.
However, they are fucking awesome, allowing for much more sustained firefights, more tactics and seem to make the game a lot more fun, and infantry assaults on towns viable in the most part.
That and the heal and revive stuff works, now you rarely end up going back to base, so you have to choose your loadout carefully, else you get tired, or run out of ammo. Really has transformed the game into something very immersive and more realistic, but also more fun, there's a lot to be said for a 5punky rescue run in a hostile town.
Anyway, long story short, fucking awesome, well worth the downloads, even if your connection is based on RFC1149

Important words
We've bumped into an issue with the suggestion to update ACE mod regularly - people end up with newer versions of ACE than is on the server, which doesn't work.
As such, we've decided that the easiest way to do this will be to update the server on Monday evenings that way we can all sync to the same version on Mondays and avoid any issues.
I'll also provide the current version in a rar on mondays, but they'll be big, so I'd avoid using them

Update ACE today
Current release is RC7, Use the Six Updater thingy
ACE: Build 298
ACEX: Build 207
CBA: Build 81
Rars are unverified, and advised against unless you're stuck, as there's something like 1.8GB of files, a Six update will probably run 200mb

Thought I would post this here as its a good start for anyone new to the world of ArmA and OFP, good guide to tactics (as if we have ever used them, we use Tic Tacs), and how the game plays... http://ttp2.dslyecxi.com/
If you chaps are going to play ArmA2 on Friday (tomorrow) I suggest you fire up the Duala map version of Domination. It's the last known stable version we played a lot. I'm out all evening, but it should all be good to go, apart from the ACE2 update on the server.
Ed.: Duala island's been updated too. Can also be done with the same updater.

Really useful mod compilation on BIS Forum. Some dude has basically gone through all the various enhancement mods and made sure they work together. Could have solved a lot of the issues we were having on the server...but oh well!
