Deej, you want to blend bugs whilst I try and pull Jon to safety? I would go shooting, but I doubt I would be hugely effective.

Chitter chitter, the bugs move closer. If you had an extra turn joose, you used it staring at the bugs.

Roll init please Joose and Deej.

I've now got an iPhone app for rolling dice with lexs basic rolls saved. Geekjoy! It's good for rolling, not so great for copying in results.

16 dice: 2 hits. So I init of 18.

Editz by pete - 12 dice, 3 hits, init 15.

Alrighty, the distance isn't too far so you're there well ahead of the swarm.

Jon is in a bad way. There's faint sounds of breath, blood bubbling on his lips. The back of his head looks a bit eggshell. But there's no hideous twitching and not too much blood beyond the stuff leaking down his cheek.

I'd like to take a shot at the swarm with my Super Blackhawk. Stupid initiative...

Swarm just keeps on rolling closer. It's pace is similar to that of a small child pulling an adult across the ground...

Deej - some rolls for the shot plox.

Excellent! I should be able to outpace it easily then, being as strong as an average adult and everything :P

Not with a strength of 2 your not, that counts as underdeveloped.

Well, only just. Certainly not average small child, anyway.

Right, doing a quick draw from my holster:
Pistols (3) + Reaction (4): 4, 5, 6, 2, 5, 6, 4: 4 hits.

Shootan:
Revolver Specialization (5) + Agility (6) + Laser Sight (1): 5, 5, 1, 5, 3, 2, 5, 6, 6, 3, 6, 6: 8 hits.

Nicely.

Unsurprisingly enough the pistol is free and clear of the holster in a smooth well practised motion, the bullet smashing through a handful of bugs that seem to line up one after the other.

((Someone somewhere possibly goes m-m-m-m-m-monster kill-kill-kill.))

There is, despite your boast of six (or more) killed with one shot, a lot more bugs still advancing. Some more stop to feast on the spatter from the deceased. You have made a negligible dent on their numbers.

Figures. I mostly just wanted to shoot something. Unfortunately I don't have anything that will really do much to a big swarm like that.

Okies. No surprises from swarm, it just keeps moving closer with its faint hissing/buzzing sound.

The noises escaping from Jon seem to suggest that his body isn't enjoying the dragging about, but unless you stop to check using medic skills you just can't tell if you're making him worse.

This really could go on for a while...

Roll init again please gents.

5, 1, 4, 4, 1, 6, 2: 2 hits + 7 = 9

that's 3 times in a row I've gotten an init of 9.

I'm lost as to why you asked this. There's only you, Joose and swarm doing anything and currently it's just a comedically slow chase across the ceiling that will eventually (in many days) see you reach the edge of the roof dragging a corpse and having to turn and fight. Unless you do something different, like wish you were somewhere else...
