I'm guessing they just need to be on our persons.
So Al, we have to go to this club? I might need to get a tux.

Al wrote:I still don't get the RFIDs. I was thinking we need them to get in, but that's just weird. If we need them afterwards then why give them us now. I'm tempted to leave them here to teach them to be more concise with their instructions. If we do need these to get in then we need to decide who's going.

I'll go, new clubs are always fun but I doubt they'd let me in ever again.

Al, you say it's exclusive, it's shady and I guess it's likely to be an interest for the Yak given we're meeting there on the orders of tits. What else do we know?

As for a club that uses 'em, make sure your SIN's up to scratch and you have cash.

N-zo to Frank wrote:You want Gunwank, try this one man, my T-250, Short barreled and pistol-gripped for easy stash, Advanced safety, Smartlinked to the shades and my fave add on, the inbuilt Laser range finder, again hooked to the shades. Takes normal shot, with the standard spread settings, or the 'Shocklock' doorbreaker rounds.

Only takes 5 shells, but I figure after that, you know the score anyway.

Oh and N-zo will upload the picture of Dae, taken outside the club before the last run, on the main screen for Chopper and Frank's enjoyment.

Yeah well while you guys have a gunwank and then a regular wank, I'm going to go get some new duds, gotta look sharp you know.
Leland will go find a tailor, and get a tux picked out, I'll spend 2000 nuyen on it. Gotta have quality gear. If it costs extra to get it done on time, I'll pay the extra.

A good clean gun, fit for purpose. I like that. When I get custom orders through with pearl inlays and acid etch scroll work I know the money is good but the buyer is a vut.

You ever want something with a longer range then you let me know.
As the picture of Dae appears...

Eeee, many responses. Right, I'll start of with..

Its not a yak bar as such. The Yakuza are known to wine and dine visitors there, but so are the Mafia, the Seoulpa rings and the Triads. The Vory dont, but they are more "grotty biker bar" people. Its not all crims though (depending on your definitions), as high up corporate types use it too, as do fancy pants media stars. Basically, its a high class restaurant with a good line in privacy (if you want it) and security.

Which brings me neatly on to the RFID tags. Its not common practice, but its not unheard of. In a normal restaurant, you would make a reservation using your SIN number as ID. When you get to the restaurant, they check your SIN (which your comlink should be broadcasting to the world if you are playing the Good Little Citizen bit) and off you go. The thing with the RFID tags is a kind of anonymous booking system: each tag is unique, so you can get an RFID tag, book your table against that, and as long as you turn up with the tag you get your reservation. SIN numbers are still checked on the door, but only for security reasons. This way, there is no record anywhere that Mr Yakuza (or whoever) is stopping there, so no hackers can find the information and sell it to potential hitmen. Its just a security thing.

As for the question over metatypes: a place like this doesn't care how pointy your ears are or how prominent your jaw, as long as you have the money. Or at least you *look* like you have the money. A human in sloppy clothes wont get in. A Fomori in a well tailored suit will.

There aren't any instructions, but as has been said, all you have to do is have them on you in some form. Stick em in a pocket or something and they will be fine.

2000 should get you a very nice suit in less than a day. Its not like its illegal or anything, so anyone with a valid SIN (or a fake SIN of any rating, they wont check too thoroughly for a suit) will be able to walk into a shop and walk out again with something fancy looking and fitted. Its the FUTURE!

Again, I'll pass that on.

N-Zo would be able to tell you that yes, unless you got exceedingly unlucky, that should do you fine.

Al wrote:I'd rather you were nearby with the RFID ready to come in than go in and be uncomfortable. Nobody's going to cause a scene in there anyway unless they really want to piss off half the important people in the city.
If nobody else is coming and Leland has his suit, I guess we ride out.
