Now you mention it, Sun Tzu's Art of War In Space (Revised Edition) is sitting next to me.HereComesPete wrote:
So you've got a galactic megalomaniac manual on what steps to take to produce cyborg ships/fleets/armies and how long each step is going to take with considered notations on future technology speeding manufacture but increased compexity of design always being ahead if the manufacturing curve and the inherent problems that arise for space faring despots who try to do too much too fast?
I do have a fair point, even with artistic licence as Amblin points out, it's still not a long time at all nor is 100,000 a big number in the scale of things if you equate it to reality.

Today I've been watching <a href="http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b0 ... ">Horrible Histories</a> based on the <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Horrible_Histories">kid's books</a>, which you probably know well if you're around my age.
Fairly entertaining, slightly painful in places (as is to be expected from kid's TV) and edjumacashunal.

Caprica #4 was painfully slow/boring. Did they say "frak" all the time in BSG also, cuz thats just fucking stupid. Esai Morales is still a pathetic actor. The only thing he was good in was back in 1983 in Bad Boys

/rant off
I just woke up and I watched Caprica before I went to bed...had nightmares...

I've just attempted to watch that Spartacus thing.
Poor acting, excessive CG, antigravity blood.
I'm sure the crap violence and low grade softcore porn is enough to make up for it for some. but meh, I don't need porn in my general viewing.
Also, I'm fairly sure you're not surviving if your legs are cut off above the knees, cleanly (if there was enough crushing to stop bleeding, perhaps) but not like that.
I'll watch airwolf instead.

Aye, I thought I'd give it one last shot, but it just turns bollocks like every other season. Same plot devices, nothing ever comes to a conclusion, characters go through the same identity crisis as they did in previous seasons, and the finale was just a motherfucking joke - seriously pathetic in fact. Season 5 can go fuck itself.
Unless Claire gets oiled up and naked.
