Just to randomly change tack, and I'm sure Friz has told you anyway, but Goons are on the back foot after not paying their bills. Delve looks like it will be taken by the new BoB and friends. Good eh?

Yeah, that was news the other day on a gaming website, apparently the Goons lost quite a bit of infrastructure when they didn't pay the bills.

Yeah, last couple of months has been epic. The old BoB and Friends (Greater BoB Coalition) reformed into IT Alliance, ripped through Fountain killing Pandemic Legion and murderising their entire cap fleet including 4 titans, then hit on Delve. Goonfleet (primary corp in Goonswarm) fucked up their bill payments and Sov dropped in every major system they owned. AAA, Systematic Chaos, IT, Ushra'Khan and others had a mad rush to take all those strategic points before Goons could recover. We took their main resource station, super capital factory, killed 2 titans in build and every entry point into their space. At which point they folded like a wet blanket and fucked off back to empire.

Turned a potential 6 months grinding assault into a 2 night storm and utterly eviscerated Goons. :excited:

Got to love them over confident Goons. Although in the aftermath they have managed to pin the whole thing down to one poor sod who has been "afk for a few days.

On a funny note, CVA are getting murdered for their stupid moment which saw them invade -A- space. Fools. How is that going anyway? All the forums are full of uninformative "lol CVA suXor" posts and not much intel.

AAA have offered CVA an ultimatum. Apologise, withdraw and you can have your station back and we'll forget this ever happened. If CVA continue to fight they'll get steamrolled and wiped out.

It's a fair call to be honest. They could just bowl into Providence and lay waste to it. But do you think the lower ranks of CVA have realised that usually when their commanders hit the forums stating their intentions to dominate eve, everyone else has just been humouring them?

While AAA could bowl into Provi quite easily, they like having CVA space to roam into and the quite simply can't be arsed to conquer it. Provi has around 40 outposts now thanks to the hordes of carebears whacking them up wherever they can. That's a lot of grinding to take them.

In more news from what has been a particularly epic month in Internet Spaceships, our beloved Goonswarn just disbanded, amid rumours that their CEO Karttoon ran off with approx 1 Trillion ISK in assets and cash.

However, at the same time a new alliance appeared called Band of Brothers [MOLLE], so this is likely to be some sort of typical Goon prank that stopped being funny a year ago when the original BoB was disbanded by a disgruntled director and reformed into the current IT Alliance.

I hope it's not a prank or joke and that the Goon's have properly gone, hopefully a number of them have rage quit EvE as well, bunch of plebs.

It's not possible for a goon to ragequit any game, their entire mission is to cause ragequits and as such they're immune to it

Yes, for the actual goons from SA, most of the members of GoonSwarm were hangers on though and as such I expect they might find EvE tough without the protection of the rest of them.

Sounds like it was a genuine emoragequit by the CEO. He came back from holiday to find a huge thread tell him to "resign you fag", so he did and took the entire alliance assets with him then kicked all the corps out.

The non 'pubbies' (i.e. the original SA Goons) will reform into Goonwaffe and head north, but it'll be a very different and smaller animal than the older Goonswarm. Good riddance.

Well we shall watch this space. They can't keep their "super secret" plans quiet for long so if they don't resurface after a month or so then we can assume they are dead.

On a lighter note, -A- just jumped a 160+ man fleet into 9uy and took down the Cyno Jammer (according to Friz and some rather panicked intel channels). So it looks like U'K will be having 9uy back after all.
