I haven't, but I'm considering it after positive 5punky reports of the beta.

Yeah, mine dropped everyone bar Ty for some reason. Still, the server browser works a bit better and we can get on the same server without too much fucking about.

So who's actually got this on pre-order?
I do!

I'm going to play around with it a bit more today as I haven't really got the chance yet so far.

Unsurprisingly, if you put me in a tank I can do bad bad things to the other team. Like shooting down their attack heli with the main cannon. Some things never change

I'm liking it so far, but I haven't been able to finish a game yet because I get a connection error mid-game (after which it can't update my stats) or I crash to desktop. EVERY TIME.

BEEFRAGE est de retour!

There's posts on the bacon forum about port forwarding, might be worth a poke.

Can't really find such a thread, I did find the ports themselves though.

Yep pre-ordered and keeping. Really starting to enjoy this now, only problems I`m having with it so far are no prone and only one map but it is a beta. Cant wait to see what the other maps are like.

I grew to hate BeeF*, so I'm holding out for overwhelming positive reviews and confirmation of server model vis-à-vis a 5punky server and/or achievements.

By which time everyone will have stopped playing it.

* I actually took stoat's advice and wrote "you hate this" on the CD after the last time where I spent hours installing it before remembering.

I'm going to get behind this. We've not had an all-in 5punky shooter since COD4. Pre-ordered.

Okay, I'm really liking this so far, it has a few bumps that need straightening out, but so far nothing that really gets on my nerves.
It's too early to say if it will be a 5punk classic, but it plays faster than BEEF ever did, and it's more infantry based meaning most of us will get along with it.

This game has the potential to be just as annoying as matured Beef. I've certainly almost hit the rage wall during one of my few plays.

I wouldn't leave you PC in the DMZ if that's what you've done, you get no protection from the router's firewall.

I've not suffered any rage beyond the broken bits. And being on inept teams who sit back on attack and get worn down into a loss.

The pre-order is a lot cheaper as ever from play/game etc.

I know, I have to switch it on and off the whole time, it's annoying but it's all that seems to work right now.

not sure if this is a bug, but the c4 you get as recon apparently destroys those little objectives too - and without big warning signs for the enemy team and a long countdown

oh and it also works even if you're on the defending team, I've heard this is to stop c4 camping the points but I've also heard it's just a bug, either way

Yeah, I've taken a few points that have been damaged for whatever reason by using c4 to finish it off. Faster and a lot less obvious than the alarms and lights of the arming method.
