If you touch your software enough does it become hardware?

Desktop Speakers

Post by No1Jew »

The Mrs wants a simple 2.1 speaker set up for her office. I see this as an oppertunity to benefit me not her.

Currently I'm using these which I will palm off to the Mrs.

So to benefit me I want a good 5.1 setup, Any suggestions?

P.S. I'm using onboard sound (P5Q-E)

I've not bought speakers for years so I can't help there, but £100 on headphones? Seems a bit steep to me (and they're ugly as hell).

Hundred quid on headphones is nothing, but I certainly wouldn't give my money to logitech, especially not for something that ugly and USB based.

I'd go for Sennheiser or Grado, because they're good.

Or cheapy sennheisers and a decent soundcard.

They're quite nice looking. Expensive though I expect. Couldn't help reading the spiel and thinking this though:
Large size ear cups for <s>comfortable wearing during long gaming sessions</s> large size ears.
