Yep, I'll take it. I don't need it, but if it means I can get away with a ram upgrade for the rest of the year it's money well spent. PM me your paypal details and I'll try to remember how to use it again (I hate Paypal).

Was exactly the same for my computing degree as well. 2 people had laptops out of our 30 or so class and even then, they didn't bother using them all the time.

Plus they provide far too many distractions. Paper is king.

Sidenote: I'm also in the 8800gts club :D

You're all too late, I've bought it. Unless you want to buy it for £70 :p

Nah pantsu, you can has it.

now i just need an upgrade for mine. Fancied having a look at shattered horizon but somehow i don't think an x1950 Pro would cut it.

Any ideas on a cheapish upgrade (DON'T SAY JUST ABOUT ANYTHING, IT WOULDN'T BE FUNNY!) £100-150 ish?

i've got no ideas, i think the last time i had a fairly up to date setup was when a Vesa local bus vga card fed into 2xVoodoo2 12Mbs was current!

Recieved, installed and working. Win7 didn't like the stock drivers, but the dedicated x64 ones were easy to get after registration.

Which means I now have a BFG factory overclocked 8800GTX going spare. Any use to anyone?

I've got a 8800gtx knocking around too. But I'm going to add it to the fettling pile.
