There's indistinct shapes around you in the hellish gritty darkness, over the sound of the dust storm you can hear the occasional shriek, turn is as follows-

Bullet time - round one!

Joose - who can see/hear not too bad.
Thing
Fab - who can't see/hear anything really and is wandering about.
Other Thing
Deej - who can't see/hear very well but is crouched down and on guard.
Different Thing
Big Thing
Anything extra y'all have.

Down on the floor of the library the events above are invisible and unheard. Phlegastus looks between Firenza and Jasper waiting for an answer to its question.

I completely missed that in amongst all the dust clouds and acid trip flies. Yes we do, but I've completely forgotten what it was such a long time ago. For Jasper, however, it was mere minutes ago. So he can explain it.

Well, im going to be shooting at the nearest indeterminate shape, but im guessing some hefty negatives will come into play. Pete?

There is negatives, I foolishly made them quite complex and then left them on my busted pc thats in the repair place still.

(6 guys looked at it so far, no cloo. You'd think it was a search for chickenz brain)

I'll post these tomorrow when I'm not too drunk to remember them.

As it happens, I am still drunk. I'm expecting the hangover to arrive shortly though as I had to stop drinking to do xmas cleaning. I break stuff if I try and drive a hoover under the influence.

This may have to take a hiatus whilst I get pc fixed, too much brain to try and remember everything about all y'all. Sorry to do it in the middle of a bullet time gents. I will place copies of files at strategic points next time so this doesn't happen again.

Right, negatives - I'm not going to tell you. I'll roll them myself and apply them to every action you perform. it'll save some brain ache.

So Joose - The nearest shape is in fact not a team member, as you can still pick them out. Jon is wandering off and Alvrin is kneeling in some strange sword fight technique. So roll for a shot if you please.

Sorry, I ran into the following statement:

and it hurt. I've tried poking you a couple of times to work out how the hell I'm supposed to roll for a shot if I don't know what negatives I'm on, but you are always immersed in Vampire. :ignore:

Let's just have Pete make the roll since he's not going to tell you the negatives and let's get on with it.

Easy, you'll roll some dice then I'll compare them to some perimeters I've set and tell you if you hit or not. Or shot Jon in the head. This way there's more risk involved. but given you normally aim for most of a turn and then roll a bucket full of dice it's not exactly the riskiest thing. I'd be more worried about Fab waving Jon's firm sword about whilst blind.

:? so, we have at this point thrown the rules entirely out the window then? Oookay then.

Longarms (sniper) 8 + Agility 7 + smartlink 2 = 17 dice: 4,5,6,2,4,3,5,3,5,3,2,1,6,5,6,5,2 = 8 hits

EDIT: Sorry, that wasn't meant to sound as snarky as it does. I'm just a little confused as to why we are going way of piste, rules wise, to describe a situation that's pretty clearly defined in the book (Maybe "heavy smoke" which gives a -4, or take that up to 5 or 6 as its particularly nasty)
