Spec me a hard drive beatches...

Post by The Shutting Downs »

The unborkage of my PC continues, now I actually have a regular income again and most bills sorted.

The new board I purchased does not recognise my current drives, and one of them was on the edge of death anyway.

So, options for a budget Sata hard drive plz, enough to get the PC running and to put Warcrack on to start. My files and such are already going on my external drive.

Gimmie stuff...

:above: Wot he said. Nicely priced storage drives with high performance rates are Samsung's baby right now. Or maybe get the 1TB version if you want more room than you know quite what to do with.

£1/GB is better on the 1TB drives, but they're more money.

I'll put in a 3rd vote for the Spinpoint F3s, they're the fastest magnetic drives around at the moment.
