Potential Vampire Award 2009

Post by Dog Pants »

Post your nominations here for the Potential Vampire award 2009. The Potential Vampire is awarded to the 5punker who has spent more time gaming than any other this year. Presumably they squat in their underpants, red eyed and pasty faced in front of their monitor, eating microwave burgers and shunning sunlight. Or maybe they just love their games. Who are we to judge?

Polls will be added to reflect nominations in the new year.

Om nom nominating Ty and Berk for this one.

Ty can be found playing one game when I go to bed, and then still be playing it the next morning before I go to work. His nocturnal gaming activities put mine to shame.

Berk appears to sleep when he should be gaming, and game when he should be sleeping. Even SLEEP! is a game, according to his Xfire statuses.

I'd like to nominate Wiggy for this one. He works crazy hours and as such can be seen bumming around in Warcraft at peculiar times. It also explains how he's managed to max out several characters without appearing to be online.

Normally, Berk wins this hands down, sleep appears to be non-existent in his world, but it's Akiakaiu that wins it this year from me, for the insane amount of hours he put into Dragon Age. You determination ashames even me Mr. Aki.

I'm also voting Aki. I think he'd completed DA:O twice by the time anyone of us had even got near the end of our first run.

X-fire's stats are off some too, seems if I have x-fire running everytime I exit DA:O I get a BSOD. If I don't have it running it closes fine. :x I'm now halfway through my 6th playthrough.

X-fire also borks Neverwinter Nights II, no key on the keyboard but the tilde key works when x-fire is running.

You know you can set X-Fire to be disabled in game in x-fire's options don't you Aki? Seems to work whenever I've got problems and still quietly logs what game you're playing in the background I think.

I shall have to look for that. Frizzy gets my vote, as he's always in something when I'm scrolling the list.

All of the above, I can't pick a stand out winner this time.

Berk is joining Friz in srs bznss wow. Aki appears to have folded time into dao time.

Ty I think has been forced to vampire recently as a result of the teeth op, but he's got a job and rats and a woman and a bairn and such so I think he's less vamp than he was.
