Dominion Trailer

Post by friznit »

Pretty trailer is pretty. Ofc there's little bit of post processingoin there, otherwise what you see with in game graphics...if you turned off your HUD and zoomed in anyway. Comms is way too clear though, needs more swearing and hurf blurf. Also, the 'new' Super Carriers (re-worked motherships) feature at the end but they've just been put on hold cos CCP fucked up.

actually, that was one of the main problems to start with. Shame they haven't done anything about it.

I'm constantly tempted to return to Eve but the lack of a casual gameplay shot-em-up without needing to spend '00s of hours a week mining isk mode deters me

actually, my complete lack of commitment to gaming matched with the success of Mrs B at mocking me when I do play games is what mostly deters me., Dammit :shakefist:

ofc if you disregard all the changes to ships, interface, graphics, missions, contracts, loot system and IGB then no it, wouldn't effect you at all.

Mnnnngh, downloading. I've not logged in to Eve for about three years, so the trip from 0.0 should be interesting. Do we still have an office in Frulegar?

Let me know when you're all going to jump in for your 5 days of 5punky reunion. I'll dump some more isk in the corp wallet and run Aki over to come play with you all for a bit (unless ofc he wants to play with his old character as well for a week :P ).

Quick story, cos it's evil and I love it: Aki's been up near Jita spying on an industrial rival's pos that I just hired mercs to destroy. It dropped 6bill isk in BPOs and cost them an estimate 20bill in lost profits, for the one time fee of 550mill.

We can sample the delights of today's Eve for old time's sake:
  • Try some epic mission arcs together
  • Explore a wormhole or two
  • 5punky drunky mining op to build an amarr battleship
  • Possibly war dec a random carebear corp for lols
  • Or alternatively try some Faction Warfare
And no, Frulegar's not been our office for yonks, it's all down in Goram (map) now which is a much better hang out:
  • High sec office
  • Plenty of mission agents
  • Ice belt and ore belts (Details)
  • Close to a major market hub for toys
  • Low sec pew pew nearby for those who like that kinda thing
And I'll need to introduce you to our latest batshit crazy lady member ;)

Edit: Eve Guides is a good place to start if you need to catch up. Also, the new tutorials are really good now and actually worth doing again.
