3 weeks away from home...

Post by MORDETH LESTOK »

So, I'm stuck at my sister's in Chicago (a 30degreeF drop from Orlando and soon to be below freezing ), and all I have is a P4 3.0ghz, 1gb ram and onboard video card :( .

Although, its capable of playing City of Heroes at very low settings it chugs a bit. Any 5uggestions for a free scifi/fantasy rpg type game that I can DL from fileplanet or something? She does atleast have a 9mbit line.

With those kinds of speeds you could try good old games for a few classics that they've worked to get going on new OS. They don't charge much and have a good selcetion.

Have a look on gog.com, pretty much anything on there will run on that, and although not free, it'll be cheap.

I recommend Fallout's 1 and 2, just be aware you'll need to use unofficial patches to get the most out of the game.

If I lived in the USA the last thing I'd be doing is playing games! Who am I kidding, of course I would be.

I think I picked up Sanitarium years ago on Home of the Underdog. It was quite good.
