Deej -

The shop you step into is filled with shelves brimming with skulls, dribbly candles, dark leather books with spikes in the spine and so on, strange creatures hang from the roof, glassy eyes stare down at you.

A small creature is scampering about, it turns toward you as you ask your question.
Friends?! And who would they be?!

One is an older Wiccan, and there's another elf who isn't the best with words and the third one is good at driving vehicles. They told me that they were in your establishment and I've come to join them.

Phlegastus wrote:Ah, the Wiccan, Firenza. She has a heavy heart. You talk also of the vodoun and the wild eyed son of Albion. I fear I have offended him, but his willingness makes me look upon you blunts with new eyes.

I thank you heartily for you help in my most urgent of concerns.
The small creatures voice changes from the annoying excitive voice and it expands rapidly into a large troll like shape, glowing faintly and without any directly discernible features.

It turns toward the doorway
Phlegastus wrote:You have known great change man child. I see the beast upon your back and commend you for purpose in life, many others have succumbed. But of course some of the greatest human minds have been caged inside their own flesh.
It turns toward the back wall where a doorway appears, filled with an oily darkness that sits across the gap between the posts like a curtain made of starless space.
Phlegastus wrote:If you would both follow me, we shall go and meet your companions.
It steps through the doorway with a faint hiss of sound, like a radio momentarily tuned to nothing but static.

Updates!

After you both follow through the portal thing you find yourself (as if you haven't worked it out by now) on a balcony looking down on a large library, thousands of books on myriad shelves stretching into the distance, strange artifacts and curios in display cases dotted amongst them. Distant shapes flitting through the shelves off a sense of scale.

Phlegastus turns toward you,
Phlegastus wrote:From your demeanours I surmise that neither of you are men of books and study, more of action and adrenaline. I shall take you to the son of albion who even now attends to a problem of vermin on the roof of the library.
It grabs your arms with its slightly shapeless hands and in the blink of an eye with a gentle sensation of speed your standing in the gloom next to Jon. He's giggling and spitting at some bat creatures in the distance whilst preparing his weapons.
Phlegastus wrote:I shall now go and talk to your colleagues, I'm sure Jon will fill you in on the problem.

Alvrin draws his katana while calling out to Jon.

I'll get my sniper rifle out of my bag and put it together whilst Jon explains.

Sounds simple enough.
What kind of negative modifiers do I have up here? (yay racial Low-Light vision!)

Alvrin also draws his Super Blackhawk.

Take pot shots for now. You'll find out soon enough if they get interested.

Everyone give me a willpower and a perception roll before you shoot/slice however.

uhoh. ok, here goes:

Willpower 2: 4, 6: 1 hit. phew, thank you dejects dice roller!
Perception 3, int 3: 5, 2, 6, 3, 4, 2: 2 hits. hooray for being average!

as for shooting...

Sniper ( 8 ) + agility (7) + smartlink (2) + take aim (4) = 21 dice :)
I'm tempted to throw edge in there too, but that would just be silly.

3, 1, 6, 3, 6, 5, 2, 6, 4, 5, 1, 5, 1, 1, 4, 5, 1, 3, 4, 6, 1: 8 hits. Boom.

Willpower (1): 6! 1 Hit
Perception (3) + Intuition (3) : 1, 6, 1, 6, 5, 6: 4 hits

Woo!
Jon pulls out his gun and lines up a shot at a group of the things (if there is one) otherwise he takes aim at one of them

Er, when I regain access to my hard drives I'll be able to tell you the results of your willpower/perception rolls, but I'll not give you any answer to your shots as there's going to be modifiers.
