That is my current experience. You can still sleep with certain characters if your current romance interest isn't in the party though, Isabella in Denerim (The duelist) and the whores who're also in The Pearl. I suspect I might have been able to bed that serving girl in Redcliffs pub, the conversation was erring that way, alas Morrigan was already claimed.Akiakaiu wrote:
I want to say you can have 1 woman and one male romance till you have to break it off with one of them. I wasn't able to bed any others even though every one was high 90s for me.
Can't seem to change attitudes though, I can break it off with Morrigan (and drop to Adore rather than warm) but despite Leliana being 100%, it's just warm and doesn't seem to change, despite options in the dialogue being there.
Maybe it requires you to not be "taken" when you bump an NPC upto the higher levels to get them on the romance path rather than friends.
Edit, interesting tid-bit, some ways on stopping a romance end only with friendship, some of the one-off converstations end with just dropping the reputation but still keeping the possibilty of romance. Could be handy on the next play though.

So they do, all this time I thought it was part of the decorative frame, I must be getting old or something.Dog Pants wrote:Look in the character screens, they have a bar below their picture.
So I looked, and noticed that the only characters that really like me so far are Leliana and my dog (whom I named Wallace)
...I wonder if I can start a romance with my dog.

You can get Blood Mage and Reaver by starting another couple of games - took me about 4 hours going straight there as a human mage. You can grab Arcane Warrior anytime by revisiting and finding the room.Dog Pants wrote:Piss, I didn't pick up either of those specialisation as I was playing the good guy.
You only get to choose the specialisations for characters if you've unlocked them when the characters reach L7 and L14 - you can't select them at any other time. I had three mages sitting at L13 for ages because I wanted the other options.

Oh, didn't seem to work for me. Maybe you have to have characters where the spec was an option at L7, or at least to have got the character in your roster before they were past that level. Or I didn't click properly.friznit wrote:You can actually level up quite happily and not take the specialisation, just leave it until you unlock it later. I was level 10 by the time finally unlocked Champion and took it.
