oooh, been thinking about getting this for a while but was holding off since I dunno if I'll have time to play. 5punky opinion is unanimously good yes?

I never had any graphics problems with it but some did. I thought it was a shiny thing, good combat, nice plot although a tad obvious. Quests never lead you on too many merry dances.

Didn't do anything for me, just seemed very fiddly and involved lots of wandering around a castle not having a clue what I was doing. When I finally escaped I was bored of the whole thing.

Did the expanded version ever come out? If so I might reinstall it as I got into the last chapter but never finished. This steam offer is for the expanded one. Ooooh.

Was quite a fun game.

Is the Director's Cut free to owners of the original? I never got into it, found the combat a bit tricky, but it's certainly something I'll go back to.

It is. It's a giant pain in the ass to install, but it's free. I was given a copy of the original version of it, but I just have not taken the time to play it really.

I remember liking it other than some immature 13yr old dialogue here and there. Put some decent time in it for about 4days then all of a sudden it got a bit hard. Then I accidently shift-deleted my save files...

But, DA:O in 7days :ahoy:
