Dragon Age: Origins
Bioware's new baby and it looks quite nice. A bit like Diablo, etc. but has Bioware's usual action pausing feature, which I like a lot because it gives me time to think and plan. Also it appears to work well in a 3rd person view rather than just overhead tactical view.
If Bioware are lucky they'll get their game out before Diablo 3.

Okay, here's the other videos embedded. Although they don't do it justice and you should really download the high res version from Gamershell (linked in OP):

Some people are getting this, right? I was looking and I notice there's a deluxe edition for an extra £10. Are the extras worth this do you think?

PCG gave it 94%. Compared it to Mass Effect for its storyline drive and polish, and Oblivion for its setting and detail. Sounds like the best of both worlds. I'm certainly planning on getting it once I'm bored of Borderlands. Also, check out Dragon Age: Journeys for a free web game that unlocks items in Origins.

This does look like a nice cross between KOTOR, Oblivion and Mass Defect. Shame there's no coop multiplayer, take a dude each thing going on. Only fear I have is Xbox ported interfarse (not seen any evidence of this in the vids though) and too much dungeon hack without enough story. Will have to see.
The interface looks substantial enough, better than Oblivion Out 3.friznit wrote:This does look like a nice cross between KOTOR, Oblivion and Mass Defect. I was going to get it on steam but then I looked at the game special edition and figured the extras were a bit better from there. Am I wrong? Does the game version have a character house and extra quests? I though the steam one just had a ring that did extra damage or crit or something. l should just look for a special edition comparison I guess.
Mind you, at this point in time I'll be lucky to be playing any version on release.
I've got 2 of the 3 unlocks from that flash dibber.

The version on Play isn't the special edition from what I can see. With the Steam one you get:
Pre-order bonus
Steam bonus
Special Edition bonus
It's the special edition which gives you the house and quests I think, but it costs an extra £15. With the other bonuses, and the extra content being about 8 hours worth, I think it might just be worth it.
