Hey, I'm from squad Five Punk, we've been tasked to make the assault. Can anyone give me a run down of the situation?

Looks like they've got Enforcers and the odd Op posted as snipers in the buildings. They look to be in the boardroom on the top level, but they can't make friend from foe through the filtered glass. There's an Oyster in there with building plans and stuff.

Once the various squad members have made themselves known I'll duck into the APC and sit down.
Detect - Finding hidden entrances
1,10 +5 = 16
Tactics - Troop deployment
10,7 +7 = 24
If Deject can turn the Oyster on and get the maps up on screen I'll have a look at the various plans and formulate the best points of entry, and try and identify any unusual ones we can use to our advantage.Grimmie wrote:Hey Brains, gimme a hand here.

It's already on and already has the maps. The Shivers (one regular, one Enforcer) and Op are already studying it. There's a number of entrances, from bottom to top;Grimmie wrote:If Deject can turn the Oyster on and get the maps up on screen I'll have a look at the various plans and formulate the best points of entry, and try and identify any unusual ones we can use to our advantage.
A small armoured maintenance hatch to the sewers in the lowest basement level.
An armoured maintenance door to the sub-street level maintenance tunnels on the top basement level (I think, I don't have my notes handy).
The front entrance. You can see that from here. The whole, large, lobby is glass walled and very transparent.
A large sliding glass door at the rear of the lobby.
You didn't get time to do it, this Red came in only a couple of days after the last one.Grimmie wrote:Oh Pants, I meant to ask how the blue went during downtime?
Was there any action during the first day, or did I lose interest?

Grimmie flicks his fingers towards Brainrot fonzie style.
Hey hey! Welcome to the team, Brainrot. I'm Grim. Our squad leader is around here somewhere. I'm just checking some maps to see what the hell we're meant to be doing here. We could go for the direct approach and storm the lobby from front or back, or go creepy-creepy. We've had bad experiences with the direct approach in the past.
Hey..
Hey Dirk? DIRK? New guy here.

Hello Brainrot. I'm already liking you more than the last Brain Waster we ran into. Anyways, we don't have much time for introductions, but my name is deject and I'm the squad scout. I like to sneak about unseen and stalk my prey.
Anyways, I think we should either go for the sliding doors in the rear of the lobby or go for the maintenance door on the first basement level. I wouldn't hold any hostages down there, and I'd bet it's far enough away from wherever the DarkNight bastards are holed up so we will have a better chance of retaining the element of surprise going in that way. Any thoughts?
The building, by the way, is split into 250 floors with a large underground car park around the basement levels and a column up the centre containing two large elevator shafts and a stairwell. The underground levels are dedicated to storage, maintenance, security, and domestic staff. The upper levels are dedicated to offices and their staff. As the floors get higher so does the importance of the occupants, terminating in the boardroom at the top.

Brainrot takes a peek at the available material and begins brainstorming.
Brainrot wrote:Can't really count on an element of surprise all the way through such a huge building. Guessin' there's going to be patrols, increasing amount of them as we get higher. Painful it may be to admit, but deject's right and we shouldn't take the fuckers head on. Maintenance sounds like a good option, if shit goes down as planned, we could get higher and take some out quietly before all hell breaks loose.

Dirk wrote:Just to be clear, is the boardroom on the very highest level? I'm curious as to their escape plan. I doubt they'd want to try and escape back down the building. Is there any sort of emergency access to and from the boardroom? Or a secret landing pad? I'd have thought that even in the case of a fire the directors would want to be out pretty damn quickly. Is there any side of the building that isn't covered by windows?
Brainrot has the right idea - we want to get up there without encountering anyone. K'trr, are you going to be able to work with that? I understand your traditions, but if we start a fire fight before we're even half way up then we can kiss goodbye to the survivors.
Has any contact been made with the DN ops yet? Are they requesting a ransom or anything?
How is it coming along tracking down those unaccounted employees?
