In typically TSW style, closed beta keys are being made available to those who take a test and choose their allegiance. I do like the look of this game.
The test, and subsequent key signup, are
here .

I did click on the machine gun, yeah. Although I was tempted for the fancy gold plated Romeo + Juliet style handgun. Although if you look at the artwork, the Templar are shown with big handguns and it's the Illuminati with the SMGs.

I got this in an email too, although I'm a Templar I picked the katana.

I got Dragon 'cos I dig their style. Templar seemed like religious loonies to me.

Is that what your test came out as, or what you chose? I was thinking Illuminati, but the test chose Templar for me so I went with that. Who am I to argue?

I also got Templar, though I did this quite a while ago and I don't remember which weapon I chose.
I have no idea if this will be any good though. I just want Funcom to get back to TLJ and stop with these numpty MMOs.

That's what the test came out as (although I picked the pistol, not the katana). I reread the questions after to work out which related to which group. I like the chaos/balance vibe.

It looks like you'l be able to work together regardless of which faction you're part of. Hopefully your cabals will be similarly diverse, because if we're forced to choose the same faction or not be able to 'guild up' with 5punkers I can't see me playing for long.

I spent ages having gun nerd rage at the 'machine gun' which was an mp5. I then picked the mp5, it'll kill more stuff and faster.
It then made me illuminati.

I am also Illuminati. With not-quite-a-machine-gun MP5.

I got Dragon, but picked Templars because I'd rather be a religious looney.
I also picked the katana but actually wanted the fancy handgun.
