I'm a bit tired right now so I'm just going to agree with Roman, as he seems to pretty much share the same thoughts on the matter.
And yes, people that tell me I should like it because it's my kind of humour can just die in a fire, how the fuck do you know what I think is funny?!

I just wanted to add that American dad is actually worse than family guy, it's pretty much the exact same thing expect the characters are even less original and they are all extremely unlikeable.
They could have used all the money they gained from family guy to create something fresh, but instead they just made the same thing. And now they're doing it again it seems.

At the end of the day I like the characters in Family Guy. All the comparrisons do is confirm that I find it funnier when it's done on that show. I guess all that matters is that I enjoy it and don't care if it shares some similar moments with a show I don't find funny.
