Looks to be filmed entirely in Africa, not Portmerion, which is kind of a shame, given it still looks the same.

I just watched this.

Some of it was pretty interesting, but mostly meh.

Also, he called CoD:WaW a "brilliantly constructed game" Clearly he hasn't played it.

Well, the singleplayer isn't all that bad, it's the multiplayer that stinks.

...Even though I liked it, it's the only cod that I'm any good at.

Not entirely true, it has a brilliantly constructed engine. Only whatever Treyarch built on that is shit.

I disagree, CoD4 has a brilliantly constructed engine, CoD5 puts it in a Trabant, feeds it cheap fuel and water from a sewer.

He's obviously a consoletard though. ;)

I quite enjoyed it but it wasn't great, like I was expecting. The Wolfenstein review and celebrity gamer spots seemed incongruous to what started out as a guide to games. Still, it was easily the best programme about games that I've seen on TV this year.

It all just seemed a bit weird to me.

Clearly he's a gamer, and I'm sure the majority of his viewers already know their way around games to some degree or another, so the whole guide bit just seemed pointless and odd.

The celebrity spots seemed more like they'd escaped from something chris morris-esque, which just added to the weirdness.

I agree with Berk here. I am a happy member of the church of Charlie, but it all seemed a little pointless. I'm not really sure who he was aiming this at; the people who care enough to watch already know everything he detailed in the program, and those that don't know probably don't care.

World at War is inferior to Modern Weapons in every way, including SP, even though MW's sneaky bit annoyed me a bit, the last few levels of WaW were just a boring slog.

It was just an entertaining, rambling chat about games, really. I lolled when he kicked the bloke with the phone up the bum in GTA.

Nice to have a show about game without annoying presenters shouting at you, an audience of kids, some crappy tips you can just get off the internet anyway and some spazholes challenging each other.

FlashForward started last night on Five. Have we covered that already? Could go either way.
