Alright, Lex, we should hit the warehouse. The rest of you should figure out how you want to split up the rest of it.

Lex puts the cigar out on his hand, making a rather nasty hissing noise.

Lex stands up, and his bodysuit now has a cartoon picture of Ehran the scribe giving a troll the finger.

You have your own wheels? All I have is a bike and it only seats one. I guess you're small enough that it might work, but I'd rather not.

On to the warehouse for Alvrin and Lex then. Alvrin will park a few blocks away from the warehouse and make the last bit of approach on foot.

Alvrin will try to see any ways in that involve a minimum of contact with any security.

Security Design (3) + Logic (2): 6, 2, 4, 2, 4: 1 hit.
Security Procedures (3) + Logic (2): 4, 2, 6, 2, 6: 2 hits.

as well as take a look to see about using his running and jumping abilities to get in.

Perception (4) + Intuition (3): 3, 1, 3, 5, 6, 3, 3: 2 hits.
Parkour (6) + Agility (6): 3, 4, 1, 3, 3, 5, 2, 6, 4, 1, 6, 4: 3 hits.

edit: in case it isn't clear I'm using the Parkour skill as a knowledge sort of skill, to see and plot out possible entry vectors so Lex and I can work out a plan.

I'll also have a discrete look, see if I can spot anything interesting/useful:

Security Design (3) + Logic (3): 1,3,2,4,4,2, pfft.
Perception (3) + Intuition (3): 5,4,1,4,4,4

so nothing deej doesnt see then, unless I get a bonus for my...er...special senses?

A truly stunning set of rolls between you!

The warehouse has a wire link fence around it, some rusty razor wire atop the fence. There's some old gates, open and next to them a little shack, tinny strains of music drift from the shack, the latest generic tunes currently capturing the ears of Seattle. You can see a pair of boots rested on a pile of old detritus by the door, looks like the guard has his feet up.

Neither of you can see any patrols of guards or drones, there's a few people wandering in and out of the warehouse through large roller shutter doors. Occasionally a hazard light flashes as fork lift drones pass in and out.

A gangly white woman and a stocky dwarf with a large mess of hair jammed under a greasy cap are off to one side in an area whose floor is painted yellow, they're sitting on a bench smoking, drifts of cigarette butts cling to the bench feet and the overflowing bin next to it. Both are wearing the one piece stained grey/blue uniforms you can see on the other workers.

There's a small brick building opposite the main doors, letters saying 'sit ofce' hang on the wall. The terrible spelling a result of a few letters having fallen off or been stolen. It's door is ajar, you see an occasional head flit past on the upper storey, but the only sign of life downstairs is through a large window by the main door, you can see a face sitting at a reception desk.

Between you, you also spot myriad obvious side doors, ventilation shafts and man holes that offer likely routes into the site.

Alvrin sees a low wall and an overhead light mounted on a sturdy metal pole by the offices that can get you on the roof without any hassle.

Joose - ((I appear to have not got/lost a list of your positive qualities. Do you still have the spreadsheet you used to tally build points as opposed to your datasheet?)) There's an inordinate amount of smells, sights, sounds, magic etc jumbling the whole industrial sector as a result of badly shielded industrial processes. Nothing in particular sticks out, it's a grey soup.

Everyone else still sitting with Firenza at the bar?

The roof sounds good to me.

Parkour (6) + Agility (6): 6, 2, 6, 5, 6, 4, 2, 4, 3, 3, 2, 4: 4 hits.
Infiltration (5) + Agility (6): 3, 2, 3, 5, 1, 2, 1, 5, 5, 5, 2: 4 hits.

and I'll take another look around when I get up on the roof.

Perception (3) + Intuition (3) + Actively Looking (3): 6, 5, 1, 6, 1, 6, 3, 5, 4: 5 hits.

So you're on the office roof without anyone spotting you, climbing the pole as easy as if you were walking along flat ground.

Joose, where you going?

Jon has a stroll around the bar to see if he can see anything interesting or anyone who looks like they might be worth talking to

There's the two old ladies cleaning blood off the floor of the pit with some new sand, shovels etc and there's the ork barmaid staring at her soap. And there's the huge troll from the spikers gang that Anytime was talking to with a couple of other equally huge troll mates sat in the far corner from your long table, they're by the pool table but they're not playing because there's a sign on the wall stating

Code: Select all

If you can't pick up a cue without breaking it, don't.
These guys can't. So they're watching some violent bloodsports channel on the large wall monitor instead, grimacing and cheering at the brutal combat on the screen.

Right, I'm going to be honest here.

1. I'm lost. I've lost track of which character is doing which campaign.
2. I've got some spells that might be useful, but I've forgotten how they work.
3. I'm failing at brain.
4. I'm drunk

So, to try to regain some kind of control here;

We're looking for one of the dudes in blue robes who has ended up on the fighting circuit here, correct? We've got a few ideas as to his whereabouts, but nothing solid. And we need to find him, and maybe have words.

I can do clairvoyance and clairaudience, which may be useful. Needs a bit of bone rattling and voodoo ritual though. So, I'll order a few more drinks and socialise a bit, if we have the time. Try to understand Jon's accent and give people the opportunity to understand mine. I'll also swear a lot and tell dirty jokes. Glare as much as you want Firenza. However, I'm also a hobo who's got no interest in a leadership role and at the moment I'm in this for three reasons:

1. Blue guys are nasty, and I'm a good guy
2. I'm bored
3. There might be rum in it

Make of that what you will. Can I have a brief brief to sum up so far Pete, since I'm having a brain-fuck? I'll try to be more constructive then.

The list of locations you've all been given as to where the blue robed guy who wielded blood magics such as those in the mansion need checking to figure out what he's up to in Tacoma.

You and firenza are sat with a sleeping Anytime whilst Jon is wandering around the bar.

Alvrin and Lex have started to scope out/infiltrate the warehouse where a drug addict may have spotted him.

Your time would probably be best spent heading out with Firenza and Jon to one of the other locations to get the search going there. Might I suggest the magic shop or The Crying Wall given your magical leanings.

The information was passed from Anytime who fought a troll to get it. The blue robed guy blew up some Spikers (a troll biker gang who hate elves) with blood magic in this area which is what brought the attention in the first place.

Blue robed elf suspect may or may not be in area at this moment in time.
