It will if anyone is looking for it, yes. If theres anyone checking for wireless signals, it might as well be the size of a blimp and painted neon green.

Source book of Seattle in the Waugh, please don't leave it in a puddle of beer or get greasy peanut fingerprints on it. I thank you!

Can I or N-Zo do a check to see if anyone is checking for wireless signals? What sort of skills would I need to do that?
If I think the coast is clear then I'll send my dragonfly drone out and try and keep it hidden out of sight for the most part.

Yeah I will do astral checks, and I will be careful to approach from far away so I don't pop into astral space right in front of a watchdog spirit or anything.

Area Assense: 3, 4, 5, 2, 2, 2, 2, 5: 2 hits.
Alex: 1, 1, 6, 4, 4, 4, 1, 3: 1 hit.
Xa: 3, 2, 4, 6, 3, 4, 2, 5: 2 hits.

 Sorry!

Right, the wireless sweep shows you that theres either no-one (other than yourselves) doing much wirelessly in the verge, or they have Electronic Warfare stuff up the wazoo.

Xa is not up to much at the moment, but Alex is seeming a little nervous. It doesnt really show up in meat space, but in astral he is doing the adept equivalent of stretching before a race.

When he arrives at the bar he is aiming for, he meets up with a group of rough looking buggers. Not the kind of people you have seen him dealing with before. Two orks, and one human. One of the orks has an obvious cyberlimb, done in a stlye that makes it look like its all chrome pistons. The other ork is missing one of his ears. The human, impressively, is the biggest of the lot, and is *literally* covered in piercings and tats. All three are wearing bike ganger stlye leathers.

They greet each other, buisness like, and move to a corner at the back to talk.

Grimmie, if you want the bug to get in close, you are going to have to do a test to keep incognito. You need to roll either:

Response + Infiltration if you are jumping in
Pilot + Covert Ops if you are letting it do it by its self
Command + Infiltration if you are remote controlling

Dont forget your bonus dice if you are jumped in, and your bonus on top of that if you run hot.

Since there doesn't seem to be a whole lot going on, and I'm not going to risk getting close enough to eavesdrop (even from astral space), I will perform some more ass-sensing of the Verge, just seeing what's changed.

Assense (4) + Intuition (4): 5, 4, 1, 5, 2, 3, 2, 2: 2 hits.
