Very this, best film I've seen in a while to be honest... some of it had buzz and I in fits.

Gamer

Michael Hall does some great parts, shooty parts are satisfying, there are occasionally dropped tits as well. The whole thing was as plotholey though as a Harry Potter movie, and sometimes there are just overwhelmingly unnecessary parts. Overall, not bad. 6.999999...998/10.

Ultraviolet

...wut? Same 'look' of a dystopian future as mirrors edge, only with vampires and motorcycle that can drive on walls.

ISTR the Ultraviolet TV series was about 8 million times better than the movie.

The UK TV series of Ultraviolet was nothing like the film that was made. OK, it had vampires, but that was about the only similarity.

:above: You're right, I did some looking up, apparently unrelated, I'd heard otherwise at some point.

Still, the series is good and well seeded on TPB.

But if you watch it, you'll understand.

Just watched it, yes he does sound a bit scouse but I'm not that surprised given a lot of saath eefrikens do when angry. The one I work with does on occasion. It doesn't ruin it for me because I can separate the two easily. I can see how it would be annoying though.

I did think there was more thought in this than deej credited it with, the very fact that blacks and whites wanted them gone, that they were in the shanties that blacks currently inhabit, that the signs were apartheid signs but with alien instead of black written on etc etc etc.

Regardless of that I felt a dislike toward the casual 'prawn' thing that the main guy showed, ruining their initial escape with his selfish needs. One white man better than an entire race in his eyes. Then he woke up and stopped being a twat.

Hopefully a sequel with independence day ass whooping but of the company.

Big ass robot is good.

Fast and furious (2009)

So very stupid, and extremely long for action trash.

Very this.

It's going for quite cheap now in the shops (apparently we're living in a more optimistic political age now which is why it didn't get the reception it should have done).

Watch it now or I will ripp your leg off and stab you to death with your own shin bone.
