What Chimp Type will you be?

Post by Fred Woogle »

I'm still trying to decide what class to be. I like to bash things, so will proberly be something for up close, although I was playing Power Armour in the beta, but not sure what to play this time :(

So what classes are other people thinking of or decide they will play?

I quite fancy something supporty, largely due to that being something i didnt try in beta. I also plan to play something punchy. And shooty. And maybe some form of tank...

All of the above.

And I will be making a new huge robot/demon construct who will smash and bash but also possess elemental powers of some kind, because it looks good.

My most successful character in beta was a Darkness (ranged)/Telekinetic ego weapon (melee) hybrid, so I've gone with that again for a start.

The gadgeteer was particularly disappointing, which sucked because I really want that teddy bear.

Expect to see my CoX characters being reimagined, too - firey guy, icy woman, super magic girl, skull guy, healy girl.

The gadgeteers start gun seems massively boosted from the beta, so I've gone with a Gadgeteer (ranged)/Martial Arse (melee) hybrid for my second char.

Seems pretty good, the gun's much better and charges you up well, the kung fu starts weak but gets a lot better when charged.

I'm gonna join the bandwagon, no idea what to choose and no doubt I'll make 20+ characters from the start.

I've gone with gadgeteer, got all the bots which are rather nice, even if the healing drones do spend time healing each other and I would rather kill em all and resummon than wait. Speaking of which, could really do with seperate pet controls rather than just one command for them all.
I am not sure what to take for a secondary, all my damage comes from my turrets and winnie the killer pooh. I recently bought the ion cannon thing but havn't tested it out really yet, should be good in PvP.

Oh, and what the hell are action figures for? Tooltips seem a bit vague.

I love my gadgeteer, he and his pets are as hard as nails. Up until last level up (22 I think) I've only had the munitions bots as pets. I'm now trying the healing drones.

As far as I can tell there's only one set of controls for all your pets and no keyboard shortcuts.

The orbital cannon is very effective. If you don't have someone doing a knockback attack while it's focusing, Shot2bits. ;)
