Gametrailers

I've been on a Gametrailers video binge, feel free to post your own General Games related videos here!

Wow, here comes the first Sims 3 expansion; Word Adventures.
Bonus points if you can identify the highly inappropriate background music.

Starcraft 2 Singleplayer gameplay. Glad they're investing extra time in each campaign.
30 Missions of this sort of quality for each race seems like a good thing suddenly.

RAGE Seems to be ID's take on Fallout 3? But with less thinking and more shooting.

I'm utterly confused by that Sims expansion.

Rage looks good, although not as impressive as it did sometime back. And the range of platform it's due to be released for is also impressive.

Despite looking like an almighty rip off of Fallout 3, Rage looks like it could be pretty decent.

Starcraft 2, however, just leaves me cold :(

Did you play the original? I didn't, so I assumed that's why it didn't grab me.

Sims 3 had a new feature where you could explore the catacombs in the graveyard, this looks an extension of that. As always, not worth the money, but will sell massively.

I like the big ship with lots of orange lasers in Starcraft. I think I shall build them exclusively.

RAGE looks a nice runout for the new id engine, but as a cross between a racer and shooter it's difficult to pick which platform to buy it on. The vid made me think that it would be nice, just for once, that you could plant a turret and would just kill everything for you. Never happens.

Background music on the Sims 3 video was the GLA Terrorist theme tune from C&C Generals.

I've seen it used on promo vids for TNA Wrestling as well.

Why you should be excited about Starcraft II's mission editor:

Interesting, but I'm not as excited as that whooping prick in the audience.

I didn't know whether to scorn or pity that chap for getting that excited about a computer game.
