Is there a 'catch the bus' option?

This is one of the reasons I stopped playing the beta, I got a bit bored of the starting area. I don't want to be total bored when I start the proper game.

Anyone know if the characters will be wiped again at the end of the "open" beta?

this is just a guess but i would think they are getting wiped before the release. even if its just to save them time and work but there could also be technical issues which prevent them from carrying them over. as i said though im only guessing and they might keep them

Makes sense, I guess. Most MMOs do a wipe after each beta phase don't they?
I'll probably get a month or two subscription of this. It's pretty and the character creation is great.
There are a lot more options to choose from, rather than just "Fast dude, shooty dude" etc.

ive been playing a little bit, just got out of the starting area and gone to canada. i think i may have to make a new character though as i was a bit trashed and made something that would be as offensive to the eyes as possible and now it hurts to play

You may be able to change your costume later on, you could when I was playing about a month ago.

There was a costume changer in the first area after the tutorial, when I played a week ago.
