I'm not so good at questioning people, so I'll stalk silently through the shadows and move as close as I can to the end of the corridor those two were standing to see what it was they were guarding.
I'll also see if there's anywhere Deject can place cameras for us to observe the opening remotely, with tactics.
Once I've had an eyefull I'll retreat back around the corner with the others.
Sneaking
5,4 +4 = 15
Detect
10,10 +5 = 25
Tactics
3,7 +7 = 17

The guard who is coherent enough to understand whimpers quietly, a pool of liquid forming at his feet. Both are dressed in what can be best described as rags, and if you didn't know better you'd think they were cannibals. They both have similar sloping brows and bad teeth. Despite his obvious terror (and pain caused by what is possibly a fractured cheekbone), the youth stammers his answer.
Among the Subterraneans you spot one sat apart from the others in a small, open lean-to on the side of the room who has a very familiar smile. He seems to be staring vacantly into space.
As he spills the beans, Grimme peers through the doorway. Beyond it is the bottom of the forge, which has a primitive camp established there out of junk and pigskins. It very much resembles a cannibal camp, with even children running around. Groups of the dirty, feral Downtowners cluster around their crude shelters (although the rain can't get this far below ground and it is actually relatively dry aside from a few streams of filthy and polluted water which fall from the ceiling high above and drain off into a hole in the centre of the room), or around a couple of modestly sized bonfires with unidentifiable meats cooking on them. On the ground floor there are two entrances. One is vehicle sized, the other human sized, which is the one you're looking out of. Neither appear to have working doors. About 5m above the ground are a couple of smaller openings at opposite ends of the room which have makeshift walkways build up to them made from junk. The large ground entrance also appears to be guarded by young gang members armed with primitive weapons, but nobody in the Forge seems to be paying any attention to the doors. Other than the two entrances are two walkways, which are 15 and 30m up the forge, and a 5m diameter hole in the centre, leading down into darkness.Subterranean wrote:Just gang in there, just family. More of them than you. Lots more. Warriors are tough, they can crack armour. Don't go in there. They'll kill you, and you'll kill them. No good.

Do I think that I can stay hidden and keep an aim on the guy with the grin, with that tactics roll, shall I make another?Grimmie wrote:Got him.
If I can keep concealed then I'll start aiming at the guy's legs starting now, if shit kicks off then I want to incapacitate him, rather than kill him.
We should let dour know he's here, too.
Can we get any info from the cannibals about our target?

Depending on your kit he might also be able to get a screen grab of a camera (if you have one, most people do) and download it from his helmet to his Oyster. Either way, the guy looks at him and nods.
Grimmie, you reckon you could get an aim from here without too much risk. Nobody seems to be on the lookout particularly.Subterranean wrote:I know him. Raider. Don't know why he's looking like that.
