If you touch your software enough does it become hardware?

Mmm, shiny. I'll stick with my Logitech Pilot "Optical Mouse" for now though.

Could you clarify about the memory- is it 1x 1GB or 2x 512MB ?

I've got the blue Diamondback, which looks quite similar and feels rather nice. I nearly bought one of those :above: the other day when Mrs Pants' new rabbit chewed through the cable, but I just got a new Diamondback instead. Courtesy of Mrs Pants of course.

I need a new mouse, I think*. My Splogitech M-C48 has two buttons and a wheel. That is all I need, additional buttons only get pressed by mistake. I have no free power outlets, nor room for a charger unit, and bizarrely only the room to plug in a standard PS2 mouse plug, not one with a USB-PS2 adapter on the end of it.

I'll probably just "borrow" an Intellimouse from work, but wondered if there are any new-fangled devices which still have the old-fangled connectors.

* The LMB is starting to get a bit ropey, it's probably a million clicks old.

I read it properly, but I was enjoying myself too much, watching you all make fools of yourself to say anything
