If you could have anyone to sing you to sleep

Post by fabyak »

It's been a while (probably) since we had a discussion type question so I will throw this one at you.

If you could have anyone to sing you to sleep, who would it be? There doesn't need to be anything involving sexy results in your answers, just who you would like to sing you a lullaby:

Personally I would pick (in no particular order)

Seal
All Angels
Simon thingy from Blue
The lead singer from the Lighthouse Family

Prey tell, who would *you* choose?

The Soviet army choir, so I could dream of stomping cities and running my enemies down with giant tanks.

I'd also like to add Norah Jones to my list

Singin' don't make me sleepy.
I'd rather have someone sing me awake.

When it comes to singing awake, I'd go for Rob Halford, if that voice doesn't wake me up, only a nuclear explosion will.

Matthew Bellamy of Muse, Alison Goldfrapp of Goldfrapp. Ooh, maybe a duet.

The lead singer of Razorlight Johnny Borrell to get me to sleep, he may be a gimp but he sure sings pretty. Or the late Johnny Cash.

As for waking up, I'd cram the entire band of Slipknot into my room. I think that alone would wake me up, it's only a small room.

Sing me to sleep - Girls Aloud. Shit music but good to look at. I'd get bored quite quickly, have a quick wank and then fall sleep. :P

Sing me awake - Greg Puciato of Dillinger Escape Plan. He is so very shouty.

Someone did actually sing me a lullaby the other week, but that's another story.

Famous singer type though, I'd probably have the following:

The girl from la roux has got quite a good voice but looks a wee bit like a bloke, so i think I`ll have to go for Joss Stone to sing me to sleep.

I couldn't have anyone interesting singing me to sleep as I'd end up wanting to sit up and talk to (more likely at) them. Awake, however, I'd go for Bjork. She sounds like an alarm anyway, and I'd spring up so I could smack her in the mouth.

Who'd I like to sing me to sleep? Hmmm. Beth Gibbons, or Jennifer Charles. I love their voices, be nice to be sung to sleep by either of them, duo would be sexy too. 8) Add Nora Jones and Elizabeth Fraser in there and I'd die a happy man.

Mike Patton can be my alarm clock, be woken up to a different genre every day of the week, gonna have to save the Italian big band stuff for the weekend though.
