Possibly, it depends on how deep we have to go. I don't want to be down here for too long.

He shakes your hand.
Sleeper Shiver wrote:One more thing. That girl there was killed by more than just a sword or knife, there's burns around the wound. Like I said, The Subterraneans use some crazy unstable weapons from what I've seen and heard. Improvised stuff that's almost as dangerous to them as it is to the other guy. Be careful of that.

I'll have the body bagged up once you're done here.

Yeah I'll keep that in mind. I'll call over the rest of my squad, they have some forensic knowledge. Good hunting.
deej on the radio to dirk wrote:Hey Dirk, head over to the warehouse. There's another dead one there, and this one is very fresh. I think it's Lucinda. I ran into some shivers and got a tip about some people who live more than a few levels down that might have been responsible. The guy mentioned Murdoch. Might be good to ask some more questions about it, I kinda brushed it off.

Looks like she died from a single, large stab wound to the chest. Probably a sword, although it looks a little crude to be a vibro-weapon. As well as that, she has signs of electrical damage around the wounds and on her feet. The injuries to her face look to have been done after she died.

Do we know if this is the first person to have electrical damage? I mean have we seen this in our notes from the other cases?

Can we get someone researching related Ebb/Ebon/Flux based diseases or entities that match this style of killing please? I can't help but feel we're going to be going down here blind.

Someone get a hold of Murdoch or Dour perhaps?

There is prolly nothing there but I am going to run back to her house really quick. We did not investigate the scene that much.

I am thinking, if we are going with our infected hunch, that she was infected by the killer. I thought maybe she cut her own face but the whole electrical damage on all wounds and her feet sort of threw me. (unless she was in her bathtub updating her twitter on her laptop and got electrocuted when he came in to kill her.)

Anyway, I think he got her, and infected her but she fought back and was able to kill him when he was weak or maybe he died after passing it on. She maybe sustained too much damage when trying to kill him and died in the street.. possibly, or someone else killed her, or she killed someone else and infected them. I have had a lot of time to think about all this while away in San Juan, so I may be over thinking it.

This is why I want to go back. She cleaned her house before she went? No sign of the murder weapon? Did we look? Did she scribble down obsessive notes or information somewhere?

Anyway... I can catch up with you guys later if you want to continue. It might be nothing but figure I would check it before heading down anywhere.

Phoebe heads back to the girls house and has a look around for any of the aforementioned things ( murder weapon, notes, any sign of a struggle.)

My apologies, I somehow missed thursday's questions and thought nobody was doing anything.

As far as you know, nobody else had any electrical injuries. Back at the house there are a selection of potential murder weapons, as he was probably killed by a kitchen knife or similar. There are several that look like they might have done the trick, but none are covered in gore and blood.

I think I will head a few levels down just to start. I don't want to get too far without all our firepower around.

Okay just checking. The only thing I can conclude is that either there was no struggle or she just cleaned afterwards. Since the guy was in the bed, I am assuming cleaning for now. Dunno.. still a lot of questions :) Sorry didn't know if there was a lead there or if that is relevant at all.

Okay I will head back and continue on with Deej and anyone else who will join.

Deject, as you descend a few levels your motion tracker picks up something weird. A trace that seems to fluctuate in size and speed, and is quickly spreading towards you down the tunnel you're in.

When you've finished your shooty stuff I'm going to go back to each of the victims' abodes and see if there's any connection. If I can work my way back it might lead us to the source of this recent spate of crazy shit.

Is it possible to get a list of all the murders the Shivers have on file? Preferably in chronological order?
