when ever i click on some links, all i get is a message saying "the file / could not be found, please check the location and try again"
i've tried running a spyware sweep, and an AV checker, but they didnt pick anything up. i'm running firefox, on winXP pro if that helps
i dont think its anything to do with my salmon ninja pirate gayer status, so anyone got any ideas?

Try hijack this. That helped me identify the problem.
Didnt help get rid of it, but at least i knew what it was then.

well, i enlisted the help of Inspector -- --- .-. ... . and after bouncing around some technical forums, doing soem random shite, invoking legba, and sacrificing a chicken, it seems normal service has been resumed.
meh, these new fangled pc's, i never had this problem with dos 5.0 and my 8088.

Indeed, although the 8088 era was more DOS 3.3. Didn't do much "clicking of links" back then though, IIRC.

Indeed, although the 8088 era was more DOS 3.3. Didn't do much "clicking of links" back then though, IIRC.
heh. couldnt remember which version it was, but that sounded familiar. it was a looong time ago
