I may have to see if I can find my disc.
I enojyed Worms Armageddon, but somehow the cartoony ones have never been as good as the original pixelly one. I played a cracked demo for years before getting Worms: United. Nothing ever came close to the destructive power of an Uzi firing bazooka shells. I loved that bug.

I've been following this on Facebook (where you can actually speak to a dev, wooo!), it's looking good.

Definitely a return to form and the old school, I don't quite think the photorealistic particle effects for fire looks as good as the original, it doesn't quite fit, but definitely will be buying it when it comes to the PC via Steam later in the year.

Yes, it's coming to Steam, Team 17 are going all digital, so they're opting to use Steam :)

Also keep your eyes open for the new Alien Breed game they're working on, they promised footage after E3, so it shouldn't be too long now.

I got Worms: Armageddon working, nearly perfectly in Win7. Slight problem with the colour pallete, but levels are lovely in HD :)
Might pick this up on Steam if the price is right. I'd love to play it against you lot.

Affirmative.

edit: patch info.
W2 patch
http://worms2.team17.com/main.html?page ... atc&file=1

W:A patch (beta)
http://wormsarmageddon.team17.com/main. ... da&file=15

If your colours are bugged in W:A, try opening an Explorer window. If that doesn't help, try WormKit + wkColorFix (mirror on page 2). Run WormKit.exe instead of WA.exe. May require admin privileges.

Oh how I missed this game. Works like a charm on 1920x1200.
Did anyone else watch the entire intro scene when they first booted it back up?

Dr. Awesome for the win.
It seems much harder to be accurate at high res. Or at least that will be my excuse.

It occurs to me I never actually got a legit copy of Armageddon, I should rectify that by going budget hunting in the shops.

Edit: Actually, I think I do own a copy on budget. Hurk :/
