That was funny as chuff.
"He's a hacker"
"No, he's just better than your entire clan"
"He's a hacker"
"He's only been playing a week, check his PB"
"He's a hacker"
"...."

It's a definite problem in AA: these fuckers spend so much time playing clan matches on the maps that when when a couple of people come in and "don't play the map like they should" everyone bleats about hackers.Dr. kitteny berk wrote:![]()
It wasn't my fault I got behind them and killed them all, was it?
Still, AA3 is completely new game (right down to everyone having to do the training, again). I'm really hoping for great things™

I really, really, really, really, really, really, really hope they removed the nigh impossible E&E bit.Sheriff Fatman wrote:It's a definite problem in AA: these fuckers spend so much time playing clan matches on the maps that when when a couple of people come in and "don't play the map like they should" everyone bleats about hackers.

AA3 is a vanilla game. Everyone will start as a grunt, and remain as such until they release the SF patch in the future. It's a completely level playing field for everyone. The only training you will need/be able to complete is the basic, medic, and possibly the parachute and sniper training.Dr. kitteny berk wrote:

This is all conjecture though, pretty much fuck-all has been confirmed yet.

But it'd be really odd to not have it there.
Like removing weapon upgrades from bf2 when they made 2142.
Or the galil and famas from CS:S, because they were only put in in 1.6.
I'm not saying it's impossible, but it's development they've already done, and new game or not, I'd expect them to leave off from the current game, not the previous version.

Does that say free?!
I've done quite a few missions in the training and managed expert on most of them. I got a rifle expert marksman pin despite apparently missing every single kneeling and standing targets, which I didn't because I shot them all.
I broke the beta with the medical exam too. Poked it too hard with liberal use of space bar skip and it sharted when I went from start to end of exercise in about thirty seconds.
Looks like it could be a fun way of warming up for the ultra real of opflash 2 or Arma2.
