The Matrix Online shuts down on July 31, 2009

Sony Online Entertainment announced today through a post by Producer Daniel "Walrus" Myers that they will be shutting down The Matrix Online on July 31, 2009 for which the game's live staff will be preparing an end-of-the-world event.

Done with SWG Trial...time for Matrix Online 14day Trial before they shut it down...

More interesting than the actual rest of game I guess given they're shutting down.

Uggh...played about 6hours of it...exactly as it was back when I played open beta in what...2004? UI took forever to tweak to be playable. Ran mishs. Got bored. Stripped my volupuous babe down to a bikini and stayed in a schoolyard and watched her intensely as she kicked ass.

yup...all spent...next game

think I'm done with the free trials/old mmo's...
