Instead of spamming the forum with new maps, I'm just going to use this thread from now on to recommend new maps to be considered for rotation.

The newest find: de_view

this is a huge map, great for sniping. I really improved my scouting skills when I was playing on this map.

another one: cs_docks_djfinal


this map is kinda weird, because it's so big and spread out. There are 6 hosties I think, and they are spread out. It's real easy to get lost on this map. I definetly think you'd need at least 8 vs 8 for it to be fun.

Edited title a little and stickied, looks like a good idea to get all the found maps into one place.

i'll have a look through and probably work out a reasonable cycle of custom maps for the server over the next few weeks.

What's the story with the maps on the 5punk CS:S server, we seem to play through the same 4-5, can we get some more on there? I don't know which are the official ones but I would like to have a play with the following:

compound
train
chateau
prodigy
(for starters)

Now you'll probably all say how much you hate these maps, go on then...

the real problem is the amount of players.

i'm pretty happy to run any maps, but often you'll find with 10-12 people, there's just not enough to play some of the bigger levels well.

I didn't think they were that big, especially compound, but people hate compound...

So if I find some smaller maps then we're on?

we do have de_quebec on the server now. and once project bukkake gets sorted, we'll have some cool shit in store :D

Well, after far too long, I've finished tinkering with the playground map we stole. I've tidied up the geometry, tried to give it some better textures, added those much missed environment cube maps (no more white guns!) and Berk has fixed my wonky displacement maps and compiled the bugger.

This is on Bukkake, so grab it now to avoid downloading mid-game.

best custom map i've played, a remake of a lot of scenes from the matrix including the dojo,offices and the lobby (including destructable marble pillars).

yeah, I think only berk & jinxx can add maps to bukkake.

else I would add de_view to the rotation because it's fricking awesome.
