Internet teh fuxx0r need help!

Post by Vowles »

Problem:

Firefox does not respond to Domain names, IPS work fine but not domain names.

MSN,Google IMP,Steam are not able to connect. (Amoung other things).

Now, heres the tricky part;
Internet explorer is fine and xfire connects and logs in.

I can ping any domain and it will resolve.

At first I thought it was DNS error (But IE and pinging working fails this), Then I was told it was winsock error (Again IE and pinging fails this). Now Father Jack suggest blocked ports. I suggest a slegde hammer to the HD :)

Any one have any ideals as we would say here in Bristoal.

Edit: UPDATE!

Teamspeak Socket Error:11004:
An 11004 error means that the name you provided for a server in the client connection cannot be resolved to an IP address because DNS entries for that host name cannot be found or connection cannot be resolved to an IP address because DNS entries for that host name are misconfigured (for example a CNAME record without an appropriate A record). Try using the appropriate (internal or external) IP address for the server in the client connection string instead of the name.
