Facebook Raises $150M More to Cash Out Employees
Facebook is raising $150 million in capital to buy back shares from its employees? That's a neat trick, just put out your hand and $150M falls into it so you can buy back your own stock from employees? I gotta learn that one.
Most employees were awarded several thousands of shares valued at far less than a dollar each. Now, by selling to those shares investors for a private market value of $10 each, employees can enjoy a nice windfall. According to our sources, the transaction will include the buying out of roughly 15 million common shares — thus equaling around $150 million total value.

Or, if I was an employee, I'd keep my shares narf. Might be a small windfall now, but providing FB keeps expanding and growing, a bigger windfall later.

Narf!
I'd definitely hold on to any shares I had, they're making money on the strength of this buy-back let alone the fact that faecesbook is still expanding.

I'd sell at $10 a share, Facebook might be growing, but I think it's another Friends Reunited as far as making money goes.
