Top Gear Australia

Post by Dr. kitteny berk »

Aussie remake of top gear, same format as the proper one, hell, damn near the same set.

It's quite weird to watch due to the lack of the right people, but it's not particularly wrong.

A bit of the writing feels like its been done for clarkson, but hopefully they'll get more into the swing of it.

Good filler for while proper TG isn't on.

The format sounds like it would lend well to Australian presenters, as long as they didn't constantly wank over V8 Holdens.

2nd ep was much better than the first, still a bit lacking, but for a new show, it's more than acceptable.

I was going to ask why, but then I remembered this is the country which outputs Home and a Away and Neighbours. Not exactly renowned for their entertainment output.
Neighbours is awesome, don't try and deny it!

Didn't they make Shortland Street as well?
Or was that New Zealand?
